If you are saved, Jesus knows this. I believe, as it is written, that Jesus Christ will come to those who need to see him in order to reach salvation. It is also written, Blessed are those who have not seen yet believe. This is one of the most powerful means to reach salvation in my heart, I truly believe this. I've been an alcoholic for about 15 years and I've been trying to quit for about the last year. I had so much anger in me I would come home after work and drink till I passed out just so I could wake up and do it all over again the next day. I finally had enough at work and I quit my job. Eventually I had to move out of my house and my wife is living with her parents and I'm at mine. About 3 weeks ago I got a Bible and began to read. I learned that everything I've been doing is all wrong and 90 % of it was stemming from pride. I don't know what is causing your trouble but I do know Jesus loves you. Do not lose hope and he will point all of us in the right direction. My anger is slowly going away and my love for God and the world is growing. If he can help me, i know he will help you. Jesus is king.

Ive been trying to quit for a long time but only within the last two months has the power of God and the spirit taken me away from lustful habits. : I needed this, thank you so much father. I loved to go to church, I stopped going, because my soul wasn't fed enough of Gods world. I come out of the church with no nourishment in my soul. The Novus Ordo masses give me nothing but disappointment. Terrible music, sometimes clapping. I struggle with the same sense of emptiness. It's as though I feel a chronic sense of letting Him down. Some of this may well be the Enemy placing guilt on my heart as I have been told by many that God would not do this. But, I also know that I'm incredibly weak when it comes to speaking about Christ. I wholeheartedly love God & positively give all glory to Him but, I'm sheepish when it comes to supporting Christ. He's God... right? So why the difference? I too pray that He will provide me with His strength & that He will strengthen our relationship.
