Pete, those are printers cuts. They were used on letterpress presses, for printing newspaper adds ect. I was a printer for 40 years. I used to use these.

My Dad used to own a small print shop and used to make zinc engravings. He had a Heidelberg windmill press, and a Linotype hot led type setting machine. A really old one. I used to run those for him when I went to work for him. We had mountains of the blocks, and a whole room full of hand set type drawers full of wooden and lead type.

@@garettanderson6772 I had my own shop as well. I had a Kluge letterpress. I still have a lot of old cuts left as well as a furniture cabinet and an almost complete riglet cabinet. I trained on a linotype when I was in high school, that was many moons ago.

Why not. Whether the item is worth thousands of dollars or 5 bucks ,what I paid for item doesn't matter.If I found $1,000 item in a dumpster ,doesn't mean it's not worth $1,000. I've bought and sold cars for decades.What I padi for said car has no bearing on it's value to the next buyer

@@woodrowbunopaddlethis is different when ur trying to make some money and sell to a shop you dont say you found it in the trash or else the shop is gonna want to low ball the hell out of you cuz they are thinking that you dont know the value of the item, as you can see she didnt know anything about it and tells him how much would she give me and he offers 28$ knowing that hes already winning the deal cuz she said she found it in the trash.

@@Manny-ds9vr So will they "high ball" me if I paid the moon for the item? No .. What it comes down to is negotiating. The reseller just wants to make money on it.He really doesn't care if you paid nothing or $100 for the item as long as he can profit. Where the issue comes in is because when someone has nothing invested they will see it as found money ,and let it go cheap. If you found a $100 bill you wouldn't sell it for $50?

@@budndeb If the woman knew the worth of what she was selling, sure she could have not accepted Peter’s offer, but Peter always puts on his theatrics about how he has to make money too and it’s not worth much without the box or packaging blah blah blah. He knows damn well what he’s doing and how to work the angle with people, and of course he treats people with respect, he wants them to keep coming back to continue taking advantage of them!!!!!

That Coleman stove is highly collectable, especially unused! I have a 1961 Coleman lantern that my dad purchased in 1961 the year I was born. I wouldn't sell it for any price! Yes....it still works great!

No one wants these stoves anymore as I camp and hunt all over the country and visit about 90% of the parks over the years. The collection days of old Coleman products are over now. I have a Coleman Lantern from the late 60's in perfection and like new condition. the go for $160 to $250 on ebay with no one bidding on them and now I can't even sell it for $30 no one wants them.

@@dmiller622 You must be doing something wrong if a perfect 60's lantern isn't selling for $30. I've sold multiple vintage Coleman lanterns , many in not great shape, and they fly off the shelves between $50-150 for me depending on color, condition, and age but never had a problem selling them. Coleman is still collectable, maybe less so, but sells extremely fast and for huge amounts for me.

I DO always want close ups of Honey and Ruby…. who was really rockin out. Honey just loves her bunk bed and we get to see her in that perfect spot! I smile when she comes sauntering in like “Oh they want to see me again, I guess I’ll make an appearance. Then of course Ruby can’t be upstaged! Love the times too!

What you list it for, and what you're left with after delivery costs, Ebay fees, staff costs & storage overheads, business taxes, insurance, utility charges etc are 2 very different things. If it was a private seller just trading a few items per week from home, you might have more of a point

The older camping stoves use an old gas fitting that isn’t easily available anymore and it won’t fit modern gas canisters. You might be able to figure out a way with multiple gas plumbing fittings from Home Depot. I got rid of one for that reason recently - too much work to figure out for a $30 stove.

Strongly disagree with the "well they made a lot of them, and they're out there" statement. Yes! at one point they make a lot of some items (not talking specifically about the sign), but how many of them are still in tact, working, surviving or even existing today. How many they put out at the time is irrelevant to an items rarity TODAY. There's little weight in that statement unless the item you're looking at is very recent.
