I Can't Believe Spellbook Are This Powerful in Master Duel

After not playing for 10 years i have returned to playing Yu-Gi-Oh, now on Master Duel. And i stumbled into this Archetype and its amazing. It's fairly old school play while able to keep up with modern decks (for the most part). 10/10 deck. Im glad i as an old school player can learn how the new rules work with my original strategies

Deck sucks. It's the same with 1 judgment which is good but powercrept since it's an end phase card. At best Rouge at worst not even played.

It's a good engine in decks that like abusing spells like endymion (doesn't work with striker cards though unfortunately) probably won't see much play unless konami prints another spell abusing deck

Brought it to plat 1 during season 1 even without judgement the engine is crazy in that deck and now it’s stupid cheap to get all the cards for it

You basically play 2 engage and any 2 combo between either hornet drone, widow anchor and/or multirole. It's pretty cute engage either starts u off with multirole to prevent Ur spellbooks from being responded to or you engage at the end for a better pot of greed

i’m currently playing a spellbook skystrikers deck. the important thing to remember is you’re playing a sky striker deck, don’t over saturate your deck with too many spellbooks. what you want is the draw engine, so 1 blue boy, 2 secrets, 2 knowledge, a fate, and your judgement. you could maybe cut fate, but it’s effect is just too good. over all, spellbooks doesn’t make sky striker any MORE deadly than it currently is, but it does make it more consistent for sure. not to mention try reworking the extra deck with a few charmers for a easy selene + accesscode (RIP halq but charmers won’t let me miss you) play with the decklist, see what you like. can’t make things worse lol.

Just the Knowledge Engine is alone is already worth running for an easy 2-3 spells in grave and additional consistency, but with Judgement you can do some hilarious stuff like force a Jowgen Dilemma, use either Ecclesia for bringing out their level 8 counterpart for extra interruption if your hand is heavy on Hand Traps, and use your Charmers and Selene to break boards instead of just Link Climbing through Power and Fate.
