"I don't want some ambiguous nonsense [at the end of Final Fantasy VII trilogy]" The ending of the original Final Fantasy VII was ambiguous as hell! It was strongly implied that humanity was wiped out by the Planet after Meteorfall, although never explicitly stated. That was one of the great things about FFVII, the fact that so many things were left up to the players' interpretation. It's the reason why people are still coming up with theories 20+ years later.

The Doctor is Doc Sheiran, the location is in Corel area. This Doctor Sheiran name shown in the official trailer subtitle. Doc Sheiran, a character featured in Tifa's portion of the novel "FF7 Trace of Two Pasts" (Novel that released on Japan on 2021, writtened by Kazushige Nojima). Doc Sheiran was the one who done the surgery to Tifa after Master Zangan brought her to Corel (when Tifa wounded by Sephiroth), before Doc Sheiran brought Tifa to Dr Dhamini Oranye in Midgar sector 8 Slums for recovery. P.S : Mideel has lot of greenery area, and buildings in Mideel made of woods not cements. And Doctor name in Mideel is Donovan. He explained more in Novel "FF7 Picturing the Past" released in Japan on 2020, also writtened by Kazushige Nojima. Plus, you can see the dry land outside by the door in the trailer actually, so well, it is not Mideel, it is Corel area, the area before you went to Gold Saucer.

I'm appreciating the "remake" project more and more. It's a straight up sequel by now, the remake is in universe canon. Sephiroth is changing things in the new timeline, remaking the world by merging the timelines for a desired outcome. The merging already started, the original world is already affected. If not Zack would still be dead, I wonder if that's intentional or not.

What if the scene with Tifa, the lifesteam, and WEAPON are experienced at Cosmo Canyon during an addition scene with Bugenhagen? Or it could be during the Ghast and Ifalna scenes.

If they gave us elements of choice like another date dynamic, they could possibly affect the reactions of cloud to Aerith’s death. Choosing to “love” her and have all the “dates” with her throughout the game makes his reaction more eratic or whatever. Could be a cool way to personalize the story to the player

Yeah but I think what some people don't realize is that Cloud is confused about what he feels for Aerith. That cutscene with Aerith, she even tells him not to fall in love with her because what he feels for her isn't real. I've seen more evidence that Cloud has feelings for Tifa more than Aerith. It's always been Zack and Aerith and Cloud and Tifa. I do hope that somehow Aerith and Zack can survive this time so they can be together. I want them to be happy but also, Aerith dying impacts the story moving forward and every character so her dying is also necessary. I don't know but I'm hoping it all comes together nicely.

@@Kisarasarteven in the original it’s pretty obvious that Cloud has always had feelings for Tifa and that the feels he’s got for Aerith are just being carried over from how Zack felt about her. They kinda leave it a bit more ambiguous in the OG, but remake really seems to be leaning into the idea that Cloud loves Tifa, and that his relationship with Aerith isn’t quite right. I mean in the OG, the only reason Cloud left town and went to Shinra or did any of that stuff was just so that Tifa would maybe notice him one day. The whole time they’ve known each other, all he’s wanted to do was spend time with her but he couldn’t figure out how. And after he leaves, Tifa thinks about him constantly and waits for him to come back. Neither can let go of the memories they have of each other and that’s how they’re able to piece it all back together in the lifestream. Sorry for the novel basically you’re totally right lol

Oof. Another Cloti shipper trying to deny Cloud's feelings towards Aerith as fake and a carry over of Zach's. A lot of media already confirms his feelings for Aerith are is his and not Zach's and the book detailing Aerith's thoughts in the lifeatream shows she wants to see Cloud the most. It even tempted her a bit to copy Sephirot's plan to clone herself so that she can meet Cloud again before rejecting it as it wouldn't be her original self meeting him.

Haha I didnt mean for my comment to start another ship thing. I was talking strictly gameplay mechanics. Like how the player chooses to play out their own affections in game, affects how we see the story plays out visually, like for example when you can choose to check on Aerith or Tifa first after Corneo drops them in the sewer. Doesn't affect the story hugely but still personalizes the player's experience. What if they implement that sort of thing during more important scenes. Even something like the difference of even Tifa or Barret holding Cloud back from a rage during the death scene ya know? Just thought that would be cool :)

btw pez nomura has recently said in interviews that he hopes that people will enjoy this 100h-200hour adventure to the fullest and he has also said that the 3rd game will have new lead/New protagonist and that the "infamous death scene"will not play out like people/Fans expect it to play out it will be different based on what nomura has said in interviews so far this game will be going further than what anyone thought it would they switched up the order of events most likely this game will end after cloud falls to the lifestream thats gonna be the start of the 3rd game thats exactly what it means we get to choose if she lives or dies and it was also revealed in an interview that they have added Skill Trees which unlock synergy abilities among other various things and never seen before Abilities for each character in Rebirth

And what's to say that is what Aerith is doing? What tells us that? She lives by Gaia's doctrine and we are to just assume that because it's Gaia's natural lifecycle, it's ok? We also don't know if different individuals exist in both worlds. We haven't actually seen someone on both lines yet right? Also that's not to say even if it is, that this is a temporary measure until Sephiroth can create the system where people can remain individualised beyond death. This is why he accuses Aerith of seeing only shadows. Just because her/Gaia's process is to return people to source to sustain other life, that doesn't take away she is still dissolving a persons individuality. Something not all individuals, a.k.a Sephiroth or other souls want. Fact that she gets to remain individualised and be with Zack, plus empower to almost a god from it. Is a blessing no-one else gets.

I would almost agree that we could end in the northern crater, and to be fair, the forgotten capital may be nearer or within the northern crater. There is great evidence from the OG, cut content to link the northern crater to the Forgotten Capital. However, Hojo has already proven to be a character that has said things to us before he should. In remake he almost spills the beans to Cloud and Co. so him talking about Cloud’s “Brothers” to a sane sounding Cloud makes me believe it could be anywhere, even Costa del Sol. Or a new location where they decide perhaps to put Hojo.

I believe that the Hooded man with brown goatee is actually Verdot/Veld from Before Crisis, the former Leader of the Turks who went into hiding after BC along with the other missing unarmed Turks. Of which includes Shuriken who is more commonly known as Cissnei. Anyways Verdot being present during the Rufus parade make sense some they both have ties to eachother, and he is aware of Shinra’s manipulations.

I just realized the HP and MP on Cloud and Sephiroth in the team up attack, why is their HP and MO near equal if that is the Nibleheim flashback sequence? If we look at the OG game, in the fight against that green dragon creature during the flashback, cloud had max 140HP and 10MP and Sephiroth had 3264HP 529MP. Whats going on here, clearly sephiroth is meant to be significantly more powerful than cloud at this point in the story, unless those two team up outside the flash ack sequence.

But remember Cloud is imprinting what he saw Zack do, he saw Zack being so much weaker than Sephiroth, even though he was 1st class during the incident.. right? who knows maybe fore rebirth they closed the gap between zack and sephiroth. OR does it mean something was changed in the timeline therefore why he was stronger thus being able to survive in the terrier timeline.

Remake was 2 discs, Install Disc, & Play Disc. While that could be the Dr in Mideel, the Dr in Mideel has a tie & mustache in OG, & its been confirmed that we end Rebirth at the Forgotten City, & won't be going to Wutai. I think the way Aerith dies, & Time of Death is different. I think she knows Sephiroth is up to something, & has her own plan. Though, i think sephiroth may know part of Aeriths plan. Only way Sephiroth is perma deleted, is if Cloud, & everyone that has a memory of him, dies. The "7Seconds" at the end of Remake, could be a hint at Cloud deciding which timeline/reality/Worlds/etc he wants to end up in, at the end of the 3rd remake, or a merged version of the timelines/realities/Worlds/etc. I think a few things that they wanted to do in OG, but wasnt able to, will be added to Rebirth. Like Aerith dying later, the clones IndigoXIII, & ColbaltXIII, a female Sephiroth (though i doubt this one) most the party ending up dead by Northern Crater. Am also wonder which new locations will be added to the game. They may have shown a lot, but i doubt it's anything compared to everything we are about to get. With the events & orders of locations changing. It's a Dr., whoms name is Dr Sherian when you subtitles on. It's not the one in Mideel. Collectors edition is $350 includes the shipping. Its $270 before taxes. If i recall correctly. I think Cait is eating Materia, not orbs, or it could be one of his limits. But pretty sure we see Aerith toss him a green Materia. One of his Limits is to use Summons with no cost to MP. Could be a limit where its Magic Materia he uses at no cost to MP. Have Aerith feed Cait a Materia & have Cait do a special move. I hope that all characters have synergy attacks they can do with one another. Like RedXIII & Cait, or Tifa & Cloud, not just what was shown off. The reason for Clouds mako poisoning is because he & Zack were held in those Mako Tanks, & experimented on for a while before escaping, before the events of OG FF7, & experimented on with Jenova cells by Hojo back at Nibleheim burning down. The black outs, & headaches can be explained by Jenovas gifts/powers to share memories, make up memories, & Illusions, etc. I think some of the blackouts are Sephiroth talking to Cloud, & some are Zack, & some maybe Minerva. Aerith was always aware, but i suppose thats cause shes a cetra. Its not just his mind filling in the blanks, it's Jenova sharing the memories from Zack. We're getting new summons that weren't in OG FF7, & one of them is confirmed to be Magic Pot, through one of the accessories for one of the pre orders. I'm wondering what other new ones will show up. Gold Saucer is going to be lit! & these graphics are crazy. It wouldnt surprise me if it was all In-House. It'd be cool if it was part of the dating scene, & be funny if you could be pick RedXIII, & you can see Tifa behind Yuffie, in her normal clothes. I dont think it's a different Yuffie. Think yall had it righy at first. Chocobo Racing looks interesting. I can't wait to see the new mini games, & i hope that Mog Mini Game is still a thing. Also, dude in black cloak, my guesses are unknown Surviving Cetra, Jenova or Part of Jenova, Organization 13 type shit, Deepground, or some new thing kinda like the whispers, but in physical form. Could be Roche. Could be Tifa in the lifestream, but i think it's a reflection of Tifa, in the green orb of Emerald Weapon. If you look at the water its blue, but look at the orbs on emerald weapon & it looks like what you're saying is tifa in the lifestream. Or it could be the lifestream, during the midel event. Wondwr if the underwater materia would allow us to attack, & talk underwater since it allowed us to breathe underwater for 20mins in og. Wish we saw Vincents Face, & heard more of his voice. I wonder how long part 3 will be, & how long itll be for release. 1.5yrs? 2-3yrs? They could allow us to use Vincent, but not Cid, & do a Cid DLC or what yall suggested. I hope they remake DoC, & add some things from DoC into Rebirth, & the 3rd remake. It'd be awesome if we got multiple New Summons that weren't in OG, like DoomTrain, Gilgamesh, Tonberry King, Diablos, Carbuncle, Cerberus, Anima ;) Siren, Tiamat, & some others, but im also hoping none of the Summons from OG like KoTR, Hades, & all the different Bahamuts. Its not too much work to carry over the saves & everything. Some things could carry over, but all could honestly. Other games do it. BG1 to BG2, for 1 example. The Doctor is from Corel. He came to Midgar to so Tifa's surgery to fix her up after she got slashed by Sephiroth in Nibelheim. Also fun fact we can see Beagle stamp on the wall in the backround during the marching scene. As far as where the game ends, its said to go up to the Forgotten Capital, with a scene fans are "dying" to see. They also stressed that the order of locations we visit will be changed up, & that the Weapons will be awakened, so I'm assuming Northern Crater has most likely been moved to happen before the Forgotten Capital, but I assume Aerith will still leave the party after Temple of the Ancients & the next time we see her is at the altar at the Forgotten Capital.

Considering SE said that Ever Crisis will be related to FF7 Remake some how, I won't be surprised if the hooded person with the blonde beard is actually Glenn from First Soldier story. So far we got a hint to maybe why FF7 Remake timeline changed events in FF7 Ever Crisis being the Portal Materia as a old Project that Hojo discarded because he saw it as "No Value" but badly stored so it got into the Black Market after being stolen. Portal Materia gives the user the ability to teleport to any location they want and another ability it gives appears to be time travel as well. So in the end looks like the changes to FF7 Remake timeline is maybe another "Hojo's fault" again issue. Seriously is anything bad happening is some how not Hojo's fault at this point?

I've jived with that theory quite awhile however lately I'm growing soft on it. From Sephiroth's angle if he knows the events of the original game, it makes sense for him to kill Tifa because Tifa is the one person who helps Cloud out of his foggy metal state. However.... a ton of fans would not be pleased/satisfied and they'll need that same fan base to buy the 3rd game so I'm increasing more doubtful that'll occur. I'm hoping they'll do something different but new however still have high stakes. Imagine if Sephiroth destroyed the white material? How would our heroes get through that decision? We'll see.

I'm more of that Cloud and party is already in Zack's Timeline. Which now the phrase "Will you exist in the world you save" comes in play. Will they go back or stay or revert things back to how it is? So they won't have to go through much of shenanigans in convincing the players "both worlds will eventually" merge. Or is slowly "merging for some reasons". If it is already merged, the mystery of noticing it is already in play and the story can immediately present us on its repercussions and the part has an immediate goal of finding the reason how and why. Rather than the story needing to present more things to explain the eventual world merging and shit.

The game will be great but when I hear 100 hours and "midpoint" that's not super positive to me because it sounds like way more padding than part 1 which is not something I particularly care for. The extreme padding is often unnecessary and can hurt pacing. So maybe I'm in the minority but I hope it's "100 hours" as in main story is 30-40 hours but there's 60+ hours of amazing bonus stuff.

Maybe Tifa ends up being the one going through the lifestream, not Cloud. That line in the first trailer about "who is she?". I think she is the one who may have to untangle her memories instead of Cloud in this one?
