I was told the story about Marilyn Manson in the 90s or 00s too. And I'm from Germany 😂

My husband grew up in the US, I grew up in South Africa - opposite sides of the world, completely different in so many ways. Yet we constantly find stuff we just both learnt or did growing up that’s weird that it spread like that. The one that gets brought up a lot with we are with other internationals is that Superman S thing we somehow all did in middle school around the world yet research (actual research has been done on this) can’t find it origin. Also things like the Marilyn Manson thing and other rumors somehow got all over the world. 90s kids are an interesting case study

Stretching afterwards makes sense if you think of your muscles as rubber lol If it’s cold stretching it out can crack it but when it’s warmed up it’s more pliable and stretches easier

I'm gen x born a few yrs before millennials 😆 my brother and I would go to my aunt's house to use her encyclopedias for assignments for school 😆 we believed what boomers told us when we were little but as teens gen x rebelled against there believes.

Question: Do you think your camera keeps over heating because you are using it for a long time in a hot, unairconditioned room? Perhaps all cameras will over heat in your summer filming environment. If that is true, I don’t have a solution, sorry but just a thought. Maybe you don’t really need to keep buying cameras. Or maybe you do…I am just a girl with different common knowledge, questioning everything. 🤷🏻‍♀️

RD here.. tbh we as adults or children over 2 years old don’t need milk. It’s a myth that we need milk. The only humans that would need milk are toddlers since they are growing so fast.

Myth: driving with the reading light on is illegal…. Truth: it is not illegal but possibly can be distracting to the driver I’ve lost 88 lbs and didn’t change nor take out anything from the food I consume, only changed the portion sizes, my way of dieting might not work for someone else

That’s the way it works! Congratulations! I refuse to give up certain things but just limit the portion size.

It’s the food dye, not the Suger that is the cause of the ‘crazies’ in some kids when they eat it.

So the study with stretching before exercise, is regarding efficiency, not injury. It's partially correct. It can cause you to be less efficient, but it can also help to reduce injury. So.

Dynamic stretching and light cardio is helpful before most workouts, static stretching and intensive cardio should wait until after or another day. The problem with studies is there are so many from so many sources it would take a lifetime to line them all up and address the inaccuracies and many of them are drafted for specificities people don’t consider. People read one and think they know it all, but, ultimately, every body is different…not everyone trains at the same intensity and individualized programming is ideal. Do what makes your body feel good for longevity or intent and if you have the money, hire a professional you trust.

I believe the generation before yours is mine, which would be Gen X. Yeah I literally got my entire degree in psychology using library books as research for papers and TYPING THEM ON A TYPEWRITER PRIMARILY. The internet just wasn’t used yet! I still remember the smell of all that white out fixing my typing errors! Crazy!!!

I agree no one has been harmed from eating too much fruit but that’s not far off. I’m diabetic and I can’t have bananas because they spike my sugar even half of a banana makes them go up to almost 300. You would be surprised what sugars are in fruit but I know not everyone has to watch that

First, check out the Canadian food guide. It’s based on a plate where half is vegetables. A quarter is carbs and a quarter is proteins. Next fruit is to be considered like this the poison is wrapped in the antidote. the fibre it takes to break down the sugars in fruit is all consumed within the fruit

This was so right and I have to agree with you Racheal we should throw out what we were taught as children because the parents admits that they don’t have a book on anything much less food nutrition they were just in studies lol we can write on a lot believe me!❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹

I feel like coleslaw is a cold and sometimes sort of sweet contrast texture food to eat with a hot savory dish like Italian. Kind of like drinking milk with chocolate chip cookies. Cole slaw is cold and like a sour cream to a taco if that makes sense.

I love what you said about diet. As another example. I was trying to do what People said and eat low-carb lots of vegetables and low sugar, and I was getting very very sick. I was running to the bathroom getting more and more bloated I got allergy testing Went on low FODMAP and found out. I am super sensitive to a lot of vegetables and have IBS so I have a very special diet that I need to eat for me and have to make sure I’m exercising so I don’t gain weight because I can’t eat a lot of vegetables because they give me diarrhea which sucks Great education Rachel and very true everybody’s body is different and needs different nutrition

All your guests have been wonderful, though Mama Ballinger is my favourite of all. I think all knowledge has been passed down to us from other people and the chances of it being wrong have always been there. It's nothing new and we're lucky to be here nonetheless. Don't worry, be happy - that's my motto despite my "name."
