The town I live in has a little over 1000 population so we don't have a Sprouts, Trader Joes, Costco, or Whole Foods. If we want any of those we have to be willing to travel roughly 2 hours away. The majority of us shop at Walmart or Meijer or Aldi's as that is what is readily available to us.

Trader joes used to have more items that were really good and a unique variety of health foods, the problem is the things you like get discontinued so quickly so i don’t love it as much as i used to Love sprouts, much harder to get access to, not near it all think it also depends on the area you live in, California has a large variety of health stores unlike a lot of areas so yea trader joes wont really matter as much

From my experience the big thing for Trader Joe’s was and still is they work on ensuring the farmers and manufacturers make a true living wage for the products they produce. Whole Foods not so much, and the larger grocery stores even less as their distributors make a bigger piece of the profits.

Diabetics in the UK don't have to pay for their prescriptions, it's the only thing in the UK that has a full exemption regardless of circumstances. It's wild to me that Americans have to pay so much!
