This game had a whole lot of problems when it released, but 2K and Turtle Rock did wrong to completely throw away this game that, in my opinion, still has a lot of potential.

2k is to blame, as they terminated the contract between them halting the development Turtle Rock was making.

@@tubach1082 mainly 2k. they made the game 60$ and characters costed money to buy, turlte rock wanted to make it f2p with skins to buy & and it came out in 2016 when overwatch came out so it had the compete with that cause they were both 60$ + microtransactions werent as accepted back then as they are now. Then after stage 2 turtle rock figured out they couldnt balance it and 2k shut it down cause it wasnt popular

The only real problem with Evolve was that it was just a bit too early. Had it come out later, when people were used to such content packs, battle passes, etc, it would have probably thrived, allowing them to get the funds they needed to expand as promised. Relax a bit on DLC charges, maybe offer packs at a discount, while adding cosmetics for a price. People would've been all over it, especially monster skins.

if you want a game thats like evolve, Predators hunting grounds is the same setup, not as good as evolve imo but it will scratch that itch

One thing that makes evolve unique is the fact that the monster is weak and gets stronger vs predator your basically a glass cannon. The predator can be killed so fast and the main objective isn't to kill the predator but can be your main objective since if you kill him you can win right there.

Legacy evolve has been playable ever since the original shut down and given peer to peer. Stage 2 has just come back, and as you can imagine we're all happy. It took 5 long years but finally our beloved game is getting covered again. I play on Xbox, but there is also many on PS and PC. We have an official discord for anyone wanting to play again. Hope to see some on the hunt

I'm honestly glad this game came back. I've had it and honestly I still enjoyed the game before it went offline. But now I have the chance to enjoy it online again! I loved playing this game when it came out regardless of the problems it had it was so funny. The hunters all had different abilities and personalities and even the monsters were so different from each other. Loads of fun shame it never got the love and attention it deserved and never got a sequel because of it.
