@@ellishansen8115 The funniest thing I ever saw at a Cabin Fever conference (people’s winter projects to avoid insanity) was a model boat made to look like a sub sandwich with a little nuclear symbol flag on the top-a nuclear submarine. Watching it zip around the model boat pool, sometimes even diving down into the water, and people’s reaction to it was worth the price of admission.

If you use a dotting tool and go around the edges with it, it should will help dislodge the bubbles. Also another thing I have done is fill it half way pick it up and squeeze around the edges and then fill the rest of the way it will help.

What about a PVC pipe? If it's too big you can just add some paper as shims 💡 Or find a ready made 3D print file and scale it to the correct size 💡 How comes when you get a stain you want to get off it stays and when you want it to stay it goes 😅 Also it might help to set the paint pens with some heat before washing.

Isn't it hilarious that if you spill paint on your top (like I do soooo often) it never comes out in the wash, but when you want it to stay where you put it, it disappears :) Have a great week :)

We definitely call Subs, Subs, and Burgers Burgers. Also, not sure of the size of that mold you were trying to figure out how to strengthen, but maybe it'd fit inside some pvc pipe? Or I'm 100% you could turn something either out of wood or leftover resin to surround it & keep it in shape! My wife thinks you two are so cute, she enjoys watching & the way you interact together. 😊

Hey Ben and Nicole, you could get yourselves an embroidery hoop to stretch the fabric to make it easier to sign the shirts, my Dad used to use one with Hobbytex. Edit: The hobbytex ones had a base in the middle so there was something stable that you could press against.

For your shop, I bet if you made a section and call it "Oops Bubbles" or something like that and then list items that you may deem "ruined" because of trapped bubbles at a discounted price, people would still buy them. Like Ben said, once the lid is on, you really don't see the bubble mistakes. And some people don't mind a little defect in their items. For me, it reminds me that the item was handmade by a person and not churned out by a machine. Anyway, just my two cents!

For the pot bottom, maybe try pouring just a little bit... enough to cover the bottom of the mold just a few millimeters... then vibrate it or drop it on the table a few times to bounce the bubbles out... let it sit for a few minutes, then slowly add the rest of the resin. Something similar should work for the top piece too, but done when it is nearly full (when the bubble part happens). Or adding a little resin then rolling it around the mold so any bubbles get super close to the top of the resin and pop (I hope that makes sense). And again, filling the top section up to just before where the bubbles happen, then rolling it around a few times.
@teariana1

I have a jar mold that you can get your fingers in the indent that becomes the inside of the jar so you can squish the rim of the jar before totally filling with resin, and it seems to help get the bubbles out, so I'm wondering if that could work with the little jars you have unmolded early on in the video?

I just got a notification that my order is on its way to the US! I’m so excited! That skull is so cool! You two do such amazing work. It was fun hanging out with y'all as always! As far as Subway and what we call them.. Up north in CT we would call that a Grinder, or a Hoagie (ho-gee). Or you could just call it a sub sandwich, but that doesn't mean it came from Subway, it basically means a sandwich on a long roll. A hamburger.. Is just that.. You could ask someone "Hey would you like to get a burger?" and they would know what you meant.

Yep, I can see adding the hearts as freebies, loved the one you sent with the Mario jar. But anything bigger than that, if you can touch it up, I'd sell at regular price if not, with a discount. Like I said in another post, when I was younger they all had bubbles and we all paid regular price and were fine. But then again they were a lot less expensive because they weren't art pieces like yours, just general all the mass produced pieces. But we wouldn't mind being able to pay a little less because of the bubble just to have something you both made.

Talking about being Bogan. Can you imagine if everyone was the same? How totally boring. The only thing I don't like is when people think you're being prejudiced when for one reason or other you want to do something your way instead of theirs. That always ends up in hard feelings. I like how Gillie Kube says it's your art, it's your way.
