I Can't Believe They Still Put These On New Trucks!

The halogen fog lights on my Ford Super Duty were so terrible I swapped them out for Morimoto 4Banger led pod fog lights. Did it make a difference? Are the Morimotos brighter? Can I see now or will I drive into a ditch? I almost went with diode dynamics fog lights but in the end, I'm happy with these.

I installed a set of duel color led fog lights on my truck (both white and yellow) in 1 led bulb. Love them.

Went between Morimoto and Alpha Rex for headlights on my old Ram. Lots of video comparisons. Both excellent. Decided to go with the Alpha Rex. Just liked how they looked a little better for the Ram. Great product and no more LED bulb change outs every 6 months. Much greater performance as well. Worth the cost. Might do a set of these for my wife's 4runner to replace cheap Chinese junk I put in last time.

I just recently bought a Ford super duty and they had the halogen headlights. I replaced all of the bulbs, including the fog lights with LED bulbs and what an incredible difference.

Nice!! Thanks for sharing. Were there any notes anywhere about not being street legal? I’m in California so they may not fly here however still looking to update the poor excuse for fog lights on my 2001 Tahoe. Love the OG channel and digging this new man cave channel and looking for to more content!!!

I have DOT lightforce driving lights on my motorcycle. Spent an hour arguing with a Cali state cop over my "illegal" lights. Both the light and the lens were stamped DOT. HE wasnt buying it. Finally went to the Lightforce web page and showed him that they were 50 states DOT approved and he grudgingly said ok. Took the next exit, turned around and got the heck out of Cali and haven't been back since. That was in 2007. Make sure any light you mount says DOT.

the factory LED headlights that you get on Lariat and on up trims are great. Love the headlights and fogs on my 22 Raptor. Best ever.

This truck has the Lariat ultimate package. I just don’t understand how they put 70 year old technology on trucks that cost that much and have LEDs as an option instead of standard.

Yes great idea put ULTRA BRIGHT white light fog lights in so in snow & fog you get blinded by reflection, Yellow/amber lights mounted low do MUCH better for nighttime visibility and will not blind you in snow/fog conditions. Just an FYI in some states LED headlamps are NOT legal... just some places with dumb laws my biggest issue with people putting them in is idiots do not know how to adjust aim of the new lights so they blind oncoming vehicles.

Halogen and led lights should be illegal they can blind an oncoming car driver.

It is usually the aim. Guys that install aftermarket lights rarely know how to re-adjust the headlight aim
