A couple we worked for had like 8 or 10 storage units. Some had collector cars in them. Others had antique furniture, etc. It would have been cheaper for them to purchase another home nearby the one they currently owned. It was stored over 20 years that I knew of and they could have more than afforded it. The home would have increased in value. It didn't make sense to us.
