Great that this harvest video came out just as I was going to try cotton for the first time ever in fs. I'm a relatively new player, and been wondering if there is a way to get a partial unit of cotton out of the machine. This video answered the question AND gave a pro tip on how to empty Case Module Express 635 like a boss. Nice work Daggerwin!

Dag it's called sell price trigger. And you can now change the notification settings to give you less.

You only need to mow every second line of the olives and the grapes and when you put manure in you can go line 2 6 10 etc.

Hey Daggerwin, Great series, hard to believe it's over 150 episodes long already. Have you considered a warehouse mod? It would allow you to tidy up the productions outputs and reduce your pallet count which may help performance. There are some good relatively cheap solutions that meet this need 👍

You can get a container mod for chicken food that you can refill from would be easier to fill your trailers from no too expensive either

Considering all the advancements in tech since the very first Farming Simulator, I really can't see why we can put workers on things like baling, picking up bales and ALL orchard/vineyard work. I'm not able to code a damn thing except pairing my phone to a Bluetooth device, even then that's a major accomplishment for me sometimes. But is it really that difficult to make this a thing? I've got been doing grapes or olives because you have to do A LOT in order to pull a profit. But I can not hire a worker for ANY of it.

Only the John Deere cotton harvester have round 10,000 liter bales, the case harvester makes square 20,000 liter bales

Don is correct, and I would add that the Deere doesn't let you unload partial bales. The case is cotton harvester is just all around better than the Deere. As they always are. 😜

@@DonGorgen my game must be broken, because I have a huge cotton farm on one of my games, and have shunned the JD because I end up wasting so much product. But I haven't used one in a few months so maybe should try it again. I also haven't been playing as much because they erased my mods in the last update to console. Plus the pallets limit. Will have to give the Deere another go, though, never time I play.

Can a worker do the entire grove/orchard, as in all the functions...say set em off to mow/mulch, or harvest, so you can set em off and do something else At the rate you are getting money...I would think using workers more would help ALOT in ensuring the machines are being used efficiently

The worker would decrease the income amount of the grapes and olivs because it cost a lot to get them to do the job

Worker won't do olive or grape work, the vines and trees get in their way. You might be able to send them down one pass with a mower or mulcher, but when they turn they're gonna turn straight into the vines as if it were a regular open field.

@@olivercollingwood9933 Lol. The workers cant and dont do grape or olive stuff for you except for maybe mulching and you have to restart them after every row, and hiring workers dont cost jack squat in the grand scheme of everything.
