Wish I were in Jupiter Florida. I was a kid in Florida in 1957 to 1960 . I loved fishing in Florida especially in the canals that were dug out of the Everglades to make Hialeah a new community. Lived in Hialeah. It was a brand new housing track back then.

Caught a snook at the inlet right after my buddy had just got broken off from a snook doing a nice jump and he was retying. upon taking my hook out of his lip i found the same mustad hook that I was letting my buddy use that day his leader line and some bright green braid just like he was throwing! Same fish ate two croakers back to back and obviously didn't mind getting hooked the first time 😱😮

That re-catch was crazy, Robert! Something similar happened to my Dad in Quebec Caribou camp years ago when he caught a Laker with the exact same lure still in it's mouth belonging to his hunting buddy, several days later and about a mile away!! 😮
