if i am to be honest you might as well just use the normal rounds with artillery as its the most accurate and when i use it i always get around 200-300 kills with it, but if i use the explosive rounds ill be lucky to get 100-200

fire rounds break unit formations and higher damage to morale... but solid shot agreed is more accurate and much to to shoot in almost all situations

Female gladiators are well documented. But somehow, sword and sandal films (Spartacus, Gladiator etc.) forget to show them. So they come as a surprise to some people.

The Roman units are the most versatile armies. Nearly impossible, had they had legionaries and legionaries praetorian it would be really hard to pierce that front line. Only way in is to out flank or attack from the rear.

Archon170 the original problem was Kush engaged first on its flank and engaged the Cav and was holding however Rome and Macedonia formed a line well back forcing Kush to retreating losing units. At that point had no intention of supporting Rome as they hadn’t helped in the first engagement. Noob box was unfortunate just had no way to counter all the Cav charges. Kush did a lot of fighting from 2:16 to 4:00

If i was the roman player i would bring a normal ballista instead of the giant version. The bigger one isn’t able to move and is more expensive. Also, explosive shots in Rome II aren’t nearly as effective as in attila, usually, the flaming shots are more powerful, specialy against heavy infantry.

For arty to be a mainstay in pitch battles they need 100 to 160 kills, which as most of us know is basically a whole unit. Even if a mid tier unit gets 160+ kills that makes the unit well worth the money paid for it.

Good attempt at a last stand but I feel like Kush and friends would have won had he left his army to support Macedon on Romes left flank and just sent his chariots to help Boii. Moving his whole army away got Macedon obliterated.

@@solowingpixy8190 Yeah I get he took a punch kinda early and was trying to salvage as much army as possible but that flank folding so hard is what ultimately cost them. His friendly Macedon was all but wiped out in like 5 minutes after he withdrew and then Rome got surrounded. Had he hung around and reinforced friendly Macedon for a little bit Rome could have won the middle and swung the door closed on the left
