How does Gov't + personal identity + blockchain not equal total surveillance state dystopia? The Founding Fathers of the United States of America knew that better than anyone, and wrote the Constitution and Bill of Rights specifically to *prevent* such abuse of power, and just look at us now. Banana Republics have more credibility and rule of law. Nobody had better safeguards against gov't abuse of power than America, and America's safeguards failed utterly. The fact that concerns over abuse of power were not even mentioned, pretty much says it all.
