My video from the northern outskirts of Hong Kong at the China border ➡ kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4TJp4iAqbJnha8
Hong Kong has more to offer than just the one big city. There are many outskirt areas, mountains, beaches and more to explore around the city of Hong Kong. Join me on a journey to the southern end of Hong Kong Island, to a small town called Stanley. Getting there was quite easy: I just took one bus and after 45 min I arrived in a place that was very different compared to the crowded and busy Hong Kong city. Stanley Hong Kong surprised me!

The facility where the dogs are temporarily parked is interesting, but it also feels a little cruel! That alley is actually not the main entrance, but it also gives that noodle shop an extra feature! There are many ways to make black vinegar. The easiest way to make it is to use low-salt soy sauce for secondary fermentation. Its benefits can not only reduce weight and reduce visceral fat, but also promote blood circulation and eliminate edema. Stanley's beach is really beautiful, thank you very much for sharing! 👍🥰🙏

Just want to comment the dog parking is a place for them to let dogs wait for them safely while people shop in the grocery store (since dogs aren't allowed inside) Some domestic helpers take the dogs for walks while going to shop for groceries. I guess the name "dog parking" can seem a little weird to some 🤷‍♀🤷‍♀
@giannishen
@giannishen Жыл бұрын
 @Jess C "dog parking" is the official name they use, so that's a bit cruel! In other countries, people don't go shopping and take their dogs out. It is illegal to leave dogs out of sight, and no one can guarantee that there will be no accidents if they are left alone outside!

I have watched every single one of your Hong Kong videos and love it. You should try hiking! Hong Kong has so many nice hikes. If you want a hike competely seculded from the city and surrounded by mountains, try hiking in Sai Kung. If you want really nice views of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island, Lion's Rock is a must-go, but it can be crowded. An alternative is Beacon Hill and is just west of Lion's Rock and has little no people and argubsly a better view because you can also see Sha Tin behind. Tai Tam and its reservoirs are also very nice, and is a very easy and gentle hike. Most of these places can be reached by a combination of MTR and bus. Any questions, please ask!

Hey! Loving your videos!!! Two things worth mentioning: 1) Regarding the vinegar: The theory is that because the noodles in your type of noodle soup are typically "alkali noodles" (鹼水麵), it tastes better when you balance the alkali with acid, hence the tradition of putting a small amount of vinegar in noodle dishes. 2) Being a former British colony, HK has had a long, long tradition of expat communities. As a tourist, one might tend to shy away from that in preference of "authentic" experiences, but keep in mind that the expat experience is very much part of HK culture, history and identity!
