Nestled in the state of Himachal Pradesh this wonderful place is in the Himalayan mountains surrounded by luscious green hilltops. Here you will find a significant Tibetan influence due to the large amount of refugees. You will find many Buddhist temples and monks in maroon robes wondering the streets. It's truly a unique experience and almost like being in between two worlds! There are many wonderful activities and cafes/restaurants to try here.

@@enxchante I am a local from a town near dharamshala...so most of my life i have seen the mountains....i know delhi agra are just pathetic...but yes i dont like these foreigners making a general view about whole of india by just visiting two cities.....so thanks for not generalising india......and i suggest you do do atleast 2-3 treks like yulla kanda, triund, deorital, chandrashila...there you'll se what North india and trans-himalayas are all about
