Emily's personal long scream record - 16 sec. (her best live performance: of Heavy is the Crown, concert in London, 2024). 💪 MV is available on YT.

Very cool reaction - I think what’s unique about Emily is when she screams, she screams in the same note she’s singing, rather than changing to a different tone The original vocalist Chester did the same thing. It’s not entirely unheard of in that style of music, but it’s not common either - Chester’s vocals on their debut album inspired her to learn that technique back in 2002, and to learn to sing as well (she’s was in a band already, but as a guitarist, not a vocalist).

Wow that’s so interesting and it makes total sense! Also, thank you, I’m happy you enjoyed the reaction. 😊

17:06 Fun fact, In a somewhat recent interview, Tatiana from Jinjer said that she couldn't do her distortion just sitting there, that she had to have the music playing, etc., so you're in good company there Veronna.

you should definitely check out the Still Here performance from this opening ceremony. it was vocally and visually insane
@Nominokoni2 ай бұрын
@@moustafazayyat vocally insane because it's lip sync. Those two are not singing live but they are indeed great singers for real idk why they did not do it live
@thatbeybladeguy2 ай бұрын
@@Nominokoni as a live sound engineer myself i can guarantee that it was not lip synced except for maybe the harmonies at the part where the players show up during still here

@@thatbeybladeguy I'm sure it was confirmed as lip sync, it's a known riot thing they do

@Frey_TRO for the most of it it wasn't lips syncing tho, it is very different from the original as well AFAIK. Thank you for pointing it out tho! Still a great performance :D

Veronna, "French Rap"? Don't tell Floor! Emily is awesome, taking the band in a slightly different evolution. "This is what you asked fooooooooooooooooooooor!"

Awesome reaction and breakdown Veronna! Your face on the long scream was pricless! Hopefully you and Mark can do a reaction of the new era of Linkin Park together! You should definitely react to some of Emilys old band, Dead Sara! She sings very differently and more chaotic in that band and I'd love to hear you break down her crazy vocal techniques! Start with 'Weatherman' and ' I Said You Were Lucky' both showcase some amazing vocals!

The French phrase you mentioned, I don't actually have any idea what it means but based on context I was thinking maybe you meant "Showmanship," but I could easily be way of. 😅

yeah right. I'm sure everyone consumes some sort of media from humans with different "beliefs" (btw fuck scientology). sometimes it helps to just take a step back and enjoy content for what it is. if you don't dig her music thats totally fair, but don't judge people who do.
@stephensegura50862 ай бұрын
@Sh1k4ri and she was born into it and theres no proof she's an active member except for a picture from over a decade ago. But there is first hand acounts of the abuse she suffered due to her sexuality. and her lyrics in Dead Sara and now Linkin Park tell a different story! Especially their new song, Casualty!

Believing everything you read like a sheep without educating yourself more on the subject is also a choice.
