So I've been hunting B-6 this week. I managed to equal it relatively quickly, and was the third to get a 11.26 after Gorki who held the wr since 2014 and Hellcat who also equaled it earlier this year. I was already doing the start a bit different by dropping to right (not faster, sliightly more consistent/predictable) but after hours of hunting I came to the conclusion that there's no way to improve it further, as Gorki already maintained grip the entire pipe and didn't slow down at all on landing. Well, the fun thing about this map is that there's a hard limit to how fast you can drive the second half. The window for release timing is very short so if you do it properly you'll always end up with the same speed for end. To add to that my own run was a 11.269... I'm not saying 11.25 is an impossible time to achieve that way, but it surely would be absurdly optimized.
I was trying to think of 5head strats for the end, but the only thing that came to mind was this stupid vision of the car landing on the road border. It'd be faster in theory because of wheels gripping higher (earlier) and requiring slightly less release before jump. But I didn't for a second consider that it would work at all, it felt about as dumb as all my other shitty cut ideas that I come up with for every eswc map...
that is until I spent some time trying it out. fast forward way too many hours, and here we are with a 11.25 lol

That's pretty creative. Getting the grip earlier on working out into more speed. Perhaps if you have a great start like the previous WR and manage to grip the curb even quicker is possible?
