From my limited cooking knowledge, I know that aluminum is a bit reactive. Since I see it used in a lot of collecting videos, I presume it's generally not a problem, but are there situations where using foil to wrap specimens would be a bad idea?

not that I have ever seen. Most minerals wouldn't be reactive to it, even if a lot of moisture is present. In all my years of field wrapping in foil, I've never seen an issue, and some specimens have sat for several years in foil.

Hey i have a question that is not very common… can you make a video where i can find fossils in a small european contry of Serbia ?

The fossils are fascinating enough, but do you find Native American artifacts there too? Obviously they wouldn't come from the same level but they could be mixed at the bottom or maybe natives dropped stuff on top of layers with fossils. It looks like a good place to find arrow heads and stuff. I'd like to try metal detecting there for gold or newer artifacts.

@@TheFossilFiend It would be awesome to try metal detectors there but I'm in VA and can't get out there. But you should definitely try. Get a good machine that has numbers that give you an idea of what you found and different tones for different metals. And you need a good pinpointer detector too, I like the orange Garretts. You could find all kinds of treasure there.

Sure is near the surface of the ridge. Cant very very long ago that Dimetrodons ground up parts were buried. 295-272 million years ago seems a bit excessive
