Recently I finished the event and the story was so good! I did not expect such a deep plot from a temporary festival and was pleasantly surprised. Xiangli Yao is an incredibly cool character 👍🏼 With all my heart I wish Kuro success. And thank you, Doro, for being so enthusiastic about both Genshin and WuWa. It's nice to see a good attitude towards both games, despite the somewhat tense atmosphere

That's what I thought as well. I expected an ok filler patch. We're done with the hioneymoon phase so I didn't expect much. But they went above and beyond. The writing is great overall with some few kinks here and there, both for the event story and the Zhezhi companion quest. The basic dialogue animation and camera cinematography improved even more. Like damn, the 1.0-1.1 are already fine so I did not expect improvements on this aspect. Zhezhi is hilariously awkward. when she bumped her head on a wall and awkwardly walked away and them when he mispronounced "Rover". And the way they presented that is like watching an anime. It's absolute cinema. Then there's Xiangli Yao and his emotional quest/ Absolutely enjoyed it a lot.

In my opinion the story is really good even with the inconsistency with the voice acting I actually tear up in some parts and when the part with the friends came I literally said out loud that "that's what friendship is!" The only "problem" I have is I used Male Rover and him and Xiangli Yao are gonna produce a lot of nsfw a pretty boy and a handsome boy is a combination (not only for fan art but also I genuinely like their chemistry the feel like actually newly close friend that both tries to understand each other and help each other)

this has been my game so far, for luck i have got mostly earlys i lost 1 50/50 to encore who i wanted but i got the limited character in the same 10 drop ive got 4 limited 5* so far and a 5* weapon witout having to spend corral and i should have enough for shorekeeper. on the other hand zzz i have gotten close to 90 on all the banners other than the first one with 50, i dident get any standard 5* characters i wanted and i lost my 50/50 so had to spend all the curency i was saving for 5* weapons. thats my offset i guess.

Hopefully they add a way to manually store (and increase the cap). Then it will be perfect. I know they want you to log in everyday, which is fine, but it really should allow you to store a week's worth of stamina with no penalty. Just require you to log in to put it in storage. Then you can really dig in on the game on the weekend instead of just rushing through it so you don't lose stamina. I'm sure people overall would enjoy the game more if they didn't have to rush through it when it was inconvenient.

The hoverdroid is also useful for other things outside of puzzles! It essentially replaces the gun wielder in your team and you can shoot at bell chimes in the new area AND use it to shoot rapidly at ore veins, making it even faster to farm those than walking up to them and hitting them with your weapon.

since i play wuthering waves i havent touched genshin because wuwa makes so many things so damn good. i love the story telling, the moonchasing event was just as fun as the lantern rite in genshin, zhezhi is absolutely gorgeous and super adorable, xiangli yao is also such a caring and gentle character, only wanting the peoples wishes come true which i really like. also i loved zhezhis companion quest. it was fun, it was exciting, and im always down to do some investigations. im really excited to see what luro games is cookig when it comes to 2.0 since they jump from 1.4 to 2.0. also im happy rover. VA finally sounds like she is part of the world and not just reading her lines in the soundbooth. also i noticed the sound quality improved. its much more clear and the S sounds dont sound so sharp anymore. good job ^^

Kuro's writing really improved with this patch- they've always had a good base but they've been afraid of the reception so they played it safe in 1.0. The main story for the Mt. Firmament quest was genuinely pretty good, but my favourite has to be the event main story. I liked Xiangli Yao, but in a passive way- but he's among my favourites now lmao. Keep cooking, Kuro!

I totally agree! I just started playing this game about a month ago, and it's definitely worth it. The battle style is amazing, and the pulling system is great since the weapon is guaranteed. The early story might be a bit slow, but it gets much more interesting as you progress.

The only thing I would love to see Kuro bring back is swap tech. Aside from that they are killing it with Wuwa definitely my favorite gacha of the year and just in general tbh. And maybe add just one more skill in the future, Like legit having 1 more button to press for a 2nd skill to each future character to add in a bit more depth, And they could retroactively implement this to older units in the form of leaps like they did in PGR, Just a tad different.

im loving the moon chasing event, the new characters are so well designed, i like that we as the player are activly involved in making the festival and the little mini stories with characters it gives the whole event a charm as the main story in the event actually deals with some deep topics. the voice acting has gotten better, a few characters i noticed are using natural vocal masks to obscure accents, nothing wrong with that, but it can make some dilogue sound uneven and stilted, but good job on their voice control.

What im really excited about is Xiangli Yao.. At first I was obviously happy about it being free, but after doing the quest and meeting him ingame I couldn't believe how GORGEOUS he is. He looks really good ingame, even better than his drip marketing and that feels awesome tbh. Also, as someone who really enjoys the fighting side of the game, I love that we have depth of Illusive realm and the different unique techniques that you get only there, it makes it so much fun just to try characters out. The only thing im not enjoying that much is TOA. I think I still need some time to figure out rotations and things like that.. Im good with bosses but once the fight gets a lot of small enemys further away from each other I just dont know what to do and I end up with 1 star. I miss my crowd control baby Kazuha from genshin hahaha.

@Cobalt_Rain her skill birds are hitting around 30k each with help from verina on bell turtle and the healing set, and zhezhi herself being on freezing frost, but my crit ratio is 75/300 and I do have her sig weapon also, some.of her normal attacks are clearing 10-13k, but then again I only have 117 regen so she kinda struggles to get res lib and be of any real use to jinhsi, I feel like I could take a personal damage cut with a regen 3 cost echo and fix that tho

the 1.2 has been really amazing so far! i'm thrilled ^^ I already finished the quests for all the stalls and I already lvl up the friendship with the characters... A few tips for ya. Don't spend all the "credits" to lvl up your stalls, they are godly expensive to upgrade and you need the "credits" to roll for more. When leveling up the friendship, only do the one that costs 16, because it will increase the friendship faster.... Also, whenever you reach friendship level 10 on all of them, you can continue to increase one of the 3 attributes they have... What I'm doing is to level up the attributes until the strongest is at 250, then I move to the next character. I already upgraded all stalls and I have around 23 million of those credits, if we have more quests to do in the second part of the event I will already have enough (I hope so)... Also, 3 stalls give you the item to use to roll for and the main one, if you talk in the second option will give you a few as well :)

What I'm hoping for in the future of Wuthering Waves is that the story gets extremely dark with a heavy tone. Right now, I'm not feeling the post-apocalyptic vibes of the world compared to CBT1 (which gave off a very heavy tone and I loved that). So I hope that WuWa's story is starting off a little chill and then everything gets very dark later on (i.e. character deaths, regions getting destroyed, apocalyptic events, etc.).

Another thing I found different is that rover is speaking a lot more than before. Normally he would just stand still and we had to chose the sentences, but in this event,there were times when we chose a sentence and he spoke it on his on in a different way and loved it. Earlier we weren't able to hear his sound a lot, but this change is really good

Yes, it’s incredible how well they optimised the game in the last month: I had to keep the shadows on Low, because it run on 50 FPS otherwise (I suspected at the time it had something to do with devs implementing some primitive version of Ray Tracing), while these days I can keep it all on the highest settings, and the game looks amazing. I was so disappointed for a second but luckily they fixed it.

Love the game so far, the mission with Xiangli had me crying constantly. So I'm so glad we get him. The game is way too emotional for me. I'm hooked on deep level.

I started playing from its release, then I left it and came back for Changli banner and got her in first 10 pull. Since then I have loved this game-also for the quest story lines. Actually dark and engaging like the first time we meet scar- no spoilers-just saying it’s great

As a long time genshin fan that wasn't interested in anything other than Hoyo games, I think you've convinced me Doro. Out of the very little I've seen from WuWa, I did see Xiangli yao's drip marketing, and I got a little bit interested. Now that I hear he's free, I'll give the game a chance, and maybe get Zhezhi while I'm at it.
