No matter what I do it keeps saying only characters numbers and names are allowed. No matter what I do it won't let me go any further. It's been two months since I changed my username.

if the save button is grayed out, you can type the username first, then copy it, reload the page, and when u type it in quickly hit CTRL + V to paste it and click on save quickly before it gets grayed out again, worked for me!!

Just signed up and I couldnt change it at all. 3 times. 3 different accounts, yet I couldn't change it on all of them. Mashing my keyboard doesn't work at all. Adding numbers doesn't work as well. Seems like I got hated by TikTok.

I've seen people with different font but when i try it does not allow it even if it's exactly like my username but different font edit I jiat get the red triangle saying I can have up to 24 characters 🤷‍♂️

It is October 9th, 2024 and I tried this after establishing an account -- it worked! What I don't get is how TT says "You can't change your username but once every 30 days" but I didn't even get to choose it initially, so what gives with the stupid inability to change it immediately? It's a stupid feature.
