Awesome attachment! Memories of My first dump truck jobs in Syracuse, N. Y.. Working with Ole Doc doing finish work on the shoulders. He used My truck as a material stock pile. He operated a Gradall 5000 to groom the shoulders ready them for hydroseed. Like You He was an artist with His machine!

What a great attachment. A true game changer when it comes to ditch and grading work. I can see that finding it's way to the WV property for doing some road work down there. Hopefully the rental machines can handle that type attachment. Thanks Mike and happy to see it meets ( or exceeds) your expectations.

Mike, of all the attachments you have for your machines, that tilt bucket has to be the best yet. It's so versatile. I noticed that when you showed the in cab views in the latter part of the video that you had changed your plan of attack. By clearing the bank first and dumping the spoil resulted in fewer passes, and that's a result. As the old saying goes, Practice makes Perfect, and I don't think you needed much practice, because you know the machine so well, and just had to get used to the new piece of kit on the end of the stick.

Mike and Melissa, I throughly enjoy your channel and can’t hardly wait for the next episode to come out. One thing I am really impressed with is how y’all involve Hunter in your lives and videos. I grew up in a family with an aunt how was only 7 years older than me. She was born with Cerebral Palsy and due to birth complications also mentally disabled. All my life I have seen families with disabled children who literally almost hid them away as if ashamed of them. Then during my school years I went to school with kids who had disabilities of some or the other whom were ridiculed and bullied because they were different. Would make me so mad and needless to say led to me getting into fights with some of the bullies. So, all that said, thank both of you and the rest of your family for being so loving and caring of Hunter. Tell the “Huntman” I said hello.

Put the bucket manufacturer on 3rd shift. After this demo they are out of stock and dont know it yet. Game changer in time for the new road tuning up on the familys. Eva would make bank in driveway upgrades over the summer. As you and Levi drop the trees, split large and use the trailer to haul for split and tote stacking. Logging is the original cross fit.

Geometry is our friend!! Great tool and you adapted to it quickly. Something to consider: instead of pulling longitudinally and creating a “V” shaped ditch; work your bucket perpendicularly to the road to create an round bottom… more important on steep sections as it knocks water velocity wayyyy down. Great work!!! I’m just planting seeds for thought not being critical AT ALL!! Love your content!

Mike you are doing a fine job and having way too much fun. Now, all you need is a gravel seperator so you can salvage all the gravel you are losing from the road. I can see you using it on that new road job out to your new wood lot in the woods.

I bought an excavator solely for the use of a power tilting muck bucket. We live in the pacific Northwest. We did landscaping and graded yards with a tractor and box scraper. But in the winter when it was really muddy, the tractor would leave lots of ruts and really work up the mud with many passes required. Once we got the excavator, it was a one pass deal and we could totally set the grade for proper drainage. We used a Lazer to shoot grade, but after a while, the Lazer was just used to check my ability.😎 it is a total game changer!

Mike, when you were been taught to operate machinery the things you have now were just coming on line and your bosses were nearing retirement. They are hard to teach new tricks too. Just like you. You have used the straight bucket and could not see you using any other implement. I remember a time when computers were programmed in binary code. I was on a coarse that taught computer maintenance, Air Force provided. had a HP built teaching computer and had set teaching programs. One of which was a traffic light control program, which they seed could not control pedestrian lights because of limited computer memory. The next challenge was programming pedestrian lights. I played around with these two programs at night after finishing class work and built up program that worked. A couple of weeks later we were challenged to re wright the the traffic control program, this was to see if we had under stood temporary and permanent memory. Two of us past, the difference between us was I wrote the program which also included the pedestrian lights. Our instructor didn't say any thing about it. At the last day he produced a message from HP saying I had a cleaver but corkscrewed mind.

I think it’s incredible that you can build your sister’s driveway up like that! She is lucky to have you! Great family! How long does it take before the ditch fills back up again? Just curious as to know the erosion speed. Do you have to go back out and do it periodically or will it stay like that for a few years? Up here in Saskatchewan our ditches stay for quite a few years, but then we’re not right next to a forest either.

I've seen in Mike's videos over the years that he's used the smaller bucket without a swivel to try and open up those ditches in the worst parts several times, but was never able to do it this well before, so I'm thinking this should last much longer being done so much more thoroughly. And with the bigger bucket that swivels I foresee him doing a whole lot more of that long ditch, since he can do it faster and more efficiently now.

I know the excitement you are feeling having a new tool that makes the job easier, and less time-consuming, just like these new battery-powered nail guns. For years we had to haul out the compressor, hoses, and nail gun, just dragging around the hoses was a job by itself. Now you just have to make sure you have fully charged batteries and you are ready to nail.

Do this for each attachment that requires hydraulic pressure. Then when you use the attachment, you just select the proper icon for it which will have the correct pressure setting.
