I wrote, produced, sang most of the vocals and played all the instruments on this song. People get confused because he cut me out of the video, but it's not Peyton's song, it's my song with him as a feature 👍

The song is great. Typically European, of its time and very correct execution. But it would be nice to write a song about mercenaries. For example, through a translator I came across a song about Wagner's PMC "Good luck soldier". There's an interesting text there. Something in this style. There have always been mercenaries. There is also a style somewhat similar to yours, the song “The Night Before the Battle.” The text is also interesting. You can take this as an example. kzbin.info/www/bejne/apvLqYyXr7iajMUfeature=shared kzbin.info/www/bejne/nX2VZn9oqZWVic0feature=shared

One night about maybe 7 years ago, I went to bed with my Wii-U set to youtube, and had it playing music. After I fell asleep, it kept choosing songs by itself. Like so many others, I was preoccupied with concern for the state of the country. In the middle of the night, I woke up to hear your Sovengarde Song for the first time. It was such an ethereal experience, and having a song about hardy people built to survive harsh conditions helped fortify me for many challenges to come. Love your work :) keep it up

I hope you listen to more of Miracle Of Sound's music, the artist is from Ireland and he is a completely independent artist and he doesnt get anywhere near any of the appreciation or attention he deserves in my opinion.

There are so many versions of this. I was surprised this wasn’t the one that also showed Gavin (@MiracleofSound). You can still hear his vocals-he’s doing half the lead singing. I’d actually like to see a version that just shows Peyton singing, without all the imagery. He really goes berserker while singing-you can tell. By the way, if you haven’t seen the short version with Gavin, Peyton, and Eric Hollaway, you really really need to.

Your reaction is priceless. His voice has the same effect on me. The sheer power that man has behind his voice is astonishing. He reminds me of David Draiman with how much power the man weilds in his voice.

Nick, I’d suggest you check out the trio version of this song, in your own time is fine and if you happen to have the camera rolling when you do, so be it. The only thing that gets the blood pumping as much as this does is The Hu, as you’ve experienced.

Yeah dude. 💯 When you say get this kind of music, particularly this song, hits to the depths of your soul, I completely understand and agree. My last name is Moody, which actually means brave. And I discovered that my name traces back to Celtic, Nordic and English roots. My ancestors were warriors that used to shout our last name as they rode into battle. Which the original spelling in Celtic is Modig and in Nordic is Modi, like the sons of Thor, Magni which means "Strength" and Modi that means "Brave." It actually makes a lot of sense considering my personality and bold behavior. I'm convinced as well that I lived a past life this way. 😎 This is definitely my favorite song of all time. I never get tired of hearing it. I feel like the blood of my ancestors is flowing through my veins when I listen to it. Ready for War. This is a perfect workout song. 😎💗🤘🏻

I am Russian, but it seems to me that such a song clings to the soul of any person, regardless of his nationality. Similar songs, I think, were sung by my ancestors when more than a thousand years ago they marched on Constantinople under the banner of Prince Oleg the Prophet. And I also remembered this: Oh I see my father Oh, I see my mother and sisters and brothers Oh, I see how in reality my ancestors to the last They call me And call my place to take next to them In the halls of Valhalla Where the brave live forever ! By the way, in this video this song is beautifully divided into 3 voices. The bass was especially impressive. Everyone's voices are good but Eric Hollaway is just great! kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4KpgZ5uo55qrc0

@@davelister2 I always add them to mine for the last year since I discovered them. And I listen to them all quite frequently. Especially when I lay down to go to sleep or relax. My grandkids (17, 19 & 25) gave me sleep headphones just for that purpose. And regular headphones for the rest of the time. For Christmas.

I keep forgetting that you are into metal and don't post requests, so here are some: You should really check out Blind Guardian - The Bard's Song and Valhalla live at Wacken (kzbin.info/www/bejne/n16slIuVl8iWfMU). It's a different style, but you might like both songs. Yes, it are two songs in one video. Something different you might enjoy is Ayreon - Age Of Shadows live (kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2jaoKiupJd0nKc)

@rissaarei5336
@rissaarei5336 Жыл бұрын
I couldn't listen to this reaction to the end, I really couldn't. Can't help it, but neither this Peyton Parrish version, nor the metal version sound right. And that is not the case of me having heard the original first, I actually heard it last, as this version got pushed to the forefront by the algorithm. I'd highly recommend to give the original a listen too. Not saying that one version is superior to another, or that you can't like Perrish's vocals more; to each their own. But there is a reason why I prefer the original. For me, that is how it should sound like; the arrangement and Gav's vocals are pure magic together. Anyway, that is just my take on it, it's up to you to decide if you want to give it a listen or not. Hope you'll follow the Miracle of Sound rabbit hole some more. See ya!

And yes, the universal response to this song is a strong desire to rip off your shirt, grab a pool cue in one hand and a pizza pan in the other, then run outside, screaming in full-on berserker mode and start attacking pigeons.

music has been around for centuries and it touches everyone who is alive we may not all like the same genre but whatever is our preference it moves us emotionally and connects everyone listening to it on a higher level all divisions between us that we put up come down against music that is my opinion anyway.
