Voiceplay is so, so good at everything they do. Miracle of Sound watched/listened to their cover and commented. Gave them 10 alehorns out of 10! Always enjoy your Voiceplay and Geoff reactions. This is Layne's arrangement but Eli outdid himself with this. Video - Creative Design, Direction, Unreal Engine, Virtual Production, and Editing. Costuming and Props are also Eli, Penguin Point Productions, and Pattycake Productions. They did this in heavy costumes and the air conditioning had gone out. Very Hot work.

I have missed your reactions Salvo!! Well done getting back to the acapella groups of the century, PTX, Voiceplay and Home Free are magicians when it comes to harmonies. And the bass singers...WOW!!! I love seeing J.None again. He left to do service for our country, and I am so glad to see him rapping. He has such amazing candence and style! I truly love all of them to pieces. Please react to more PTX concerts that are accessible from their world tour. Kevin does something incredible with his cello boxing and I believe you will be blown away by his talent. So I guess you liked it, huh?🤣🤣🤣. The original done by Miracle of Sound is well worth a listen. After all it inspired them to make a cover of it. There is also a version with Peyton Parrish and Earl Hollaway who is an incredibly low bass as well. I really like that they have J looking across the water like he is returning home. A lot of the costuming and makeup is from My Mother Told Me when J was a regular member. Among their tattoos are runes spelling out VoicePlay. Eli did the amazing backgrounds using Unreal Engine (used in games and film for background). It was filmed, not green screen, but at a studio with immense (Full wall!) led screens. The music in the outro is the karaoke track. The background vocals and it could be a piece on its own because it’s also gorgeous.

I knew you were going to love this song and video!! They out do themselves every time! I cannot stop watching this, it is amazing!! That first B0 Geoff hits lasts for 15 seconds!! Then Eli has become the Asgardian god of rock, Layne is a beatboxing god, Cesar has become a Berserker, and J None has shown us the rap indeed belongs in acapella! Great reaction!

Awesome reaction to an epic song and video. I've been listening to this almost constantly since they posted it on Patreon a couple weeks ago. Others say Eli looks like Floki. Personally I've never watched it so I don't know. Geoff's new video will be out Friday. It is really really good. We get 5 Geoff's.

The issue is with J None, he did it all clearly, we could hear every darned word he said. For me I think rap has had its moments but most times I can't understand the words, cause it's always such a rush, so yeah, J None made it work

Salvo - great reaction! I too was especially impressed by that one bit of Layne, but you're one of the few reactors that I've seen focusing on it at all. Of course everything else is so 'everything' that it is hard to notice all the bits that are so good - too many! Just FYI - the rap was written by someone other than Miracle of Sound and added in by VoicePlay. The writer was Alfredo Austin, who also wrote the rap in VoicePlay's cover of "Superstition". He is apparently a member of the group 'Straight, No Chaser', but I haven't yet done a dive to look into him more. So, that's all I know of him, but great 'lyrics' (are they called lyrics in rap? Don't know)

I like the way he stayed low for the entire song. He also has a great higher range, but I feel he kept it low here because his character in "My Mother Told Me" basically impersonated a Viking warhorn. So if the character was super low voiced there, which is apparently the prequel to this in their catalog, then he should be here? At least that's the reasoning I'm thinking. Even tho' he goes even lower in this song.

There's the solo by Peyton Parrish, then the duo with Miracle of Sound added, then the trio when they're joined by Earl Hollaway. I've been rotating among those 3 and this one almost nonstop for a couple days not, with some reactions thrown in here and there. All amazing!!!
