He's the first to fall in all my MM2 runs. Shoot like a maniac without moving at all (on difficult/japanese version too). Yes, you will be with like 1/4 of your health but he will die before you do, so it doesn't matter. Air Man > Crash Man > Flash Man > Quick Man > Metal Man > Bubble Man > Heat Man > Wood Man. I usually follow this pattern because you can get every single E-Tank in every level without revisiting. Item number 2 right at the beginning saves you a lot of trouble.

Air Man's weakness is Leaf Shield, but he can't beat Wood Man either. Wood Man's weakness is Atomic Fire, but he can't reach Heat Man because his stage is the one with the disappearing blocks. It's a vicious cycle that can only be broken by just going to kill Metal Man because his weapon is overpowered.

If I had to choose a single robot master that even poses any sort of threat anymore, I think it's Wood Man. None of them are that hard with practice, but Wood Man is just a really claustrophobic fight. It's just too bad for him that he is weak to 3 different weapons, at least one of which goes through the Leaf Shield at close range. Quick Man doesn't usually have time to be a problem. I go after him first to shut his shenanigans down since he takes extra damage from Buster shots.

I actually did okay with Airman surprisingly. When I was younger I had a crazy amount of trouble with all of them. I think Flashman may have been the easiest for me then (and still is). But, I think that either Quickman or Crashman gave me the most trouble. (Sliding bars, yeesh....). Mecha Dragon from the Wily stages gave me a WORLD of trouble, though.
