G'day it's Steven from Down Under I love your reactions guys and I couldn't agree with you more. It was 1978 at the age of just nine years old I watched Mr Christopher Reeve portray the greatest superhero ever known to mankind. Superman is close to my heart and I do take things personally regarding this character. From the very beginning when Gunn was brought in to somehow manage DC I had enormous reservations, just look at his history and sketchy past, the only reason he's in this high profile position is because Warner Bros was looking to create a movie on a cheaper budget with B-grade creators and actors. Firstly he inexplicably removed the biggest asset they had and that was Henry Cavil, the only reason Henry was replaced is due to cost cutting and to also feed Gunn's inflated ego. For me when I first saw the reveal of this new Superman suit I was shocked, i was so disappointed that I felt sick to my stomach, I sat in silence in disbelief. This new suit is an utter joke, created on a low budget based on Gunn's misguided opinion to make Superman into a Marvel-looking character. This new generation of moviegoers is being introduced to a comical Superman wearing an ill fitted cosplay costume with a high collar and baggy shorts fitted with adult diapers. Also what the heck happened to the "S" on his chest, it's not an "S" anymore!. "How" is it that no one is watching Gunn and managing him to ensure he doesn't f*ck things up as everyone is expecting? I'm gutted... Warner Bros continue to disrespect the source material and also disrespect the fans feedback, it is the fans that will make this movie a financial success because we'll review it favourably and watch at the cinema over and over and over. The easiest thing to achieve is a cool and iconic Superman suit and this is sadly already a MAJOR FAIL. Warner Bros / DC have shot themselves in the foot with a very big GUNN.
