@@BlackPanthaa You made me want to try the Suzuka race in GT3, I just won it in my second attempt with the Viper and the joypad: I just low down the gear box to 260km/h (160mph), hard race tyres, and 3/4 rear and front downforce and then ajust my engine power to get just under the 730PP required. As I said in an other comment, soft race tyres are useless and I smiled when I saw you buy them. They are expensives and bring with them too many PP and it forces you too reduce too much your engine power to be competitive. I will personnally only buy them when they will be required

@@beardedfern yes but soft tyres bring with them a lot of PP that makes you low down the power of your engine with the effect that you can't follow the other cars to be under the limits. It's not a 800PP race, just saying. Especially the Supra which is overboosted. Not to menton that IA's cars don't damage their tyres and are as fast when they save fuel than when they don't. And finally, I have no shame to say I'm a DR B driver. I don't have time to play for hours to improve myself, I'm a grown-up man with other things to do. You're an asshole, you know that ? You judge people without knowing them, that's the definition. I forgot one thing: even when I'm against the IA, I'm looking for the clean race. If I bump them all, if I use them to take my corners, of course I would succeed right from the first try. And last thing: I actually play with a joypad. With a wheel, I'm at least averagedly 1s per lap faster and it goes until 2s on certain tracks like Suzuka or Autopolis.

With a little patience and dedication you will become a pro. I remember buying the strategy guide for GT1 and learning how to accelerate, braking zone, apexes, the whole deal. Then I got my first analog controller and learned how to use precision like gradually turning, metering the throttle, no slam braking etc., and you’re using a wheel which is more involving so you gotta build up some endurance too. That’s why I love this series. Always a challenge. Haven’t played since 6 but this looks like a lot of fun! Love your vids Pants!

You can slam brake and gain TONS of time but you gotta fine tune the suspension and brake bias to do that. Slamming corners is fun af.

Theo I can highly, highly recommend the Suzuki Swift Gr.4 Race Car.. It might not be the fastest in a straight line but it one of, if not, THEE lightest Gr4 Car you can buy (900kgs) and handles like it is on rails.. Just did my first GT7 Sport Race and went from 12th to 5th purely because i could carry more cornering speed, brake later, turn tighter & cut under other racers.. It was the most hilarious race i've had in a LOONNGG Time on Gran Turismo 🤣🤣

The more I watch this game the worse it gets. Car collision is horrible with cars bouncing all over the place. Even the way cars move seems so unrealistic, it looks like they're floating of the ground and lagging, not smooth at all. And also the glare is ridiculous in this game 6:34

@@gavcom4060 maybe I'm stupid but I'm pretty damn sure he's playing against AI. Also I've played a good amount of GT sport. Car collision against other online races is almost never that bad. They don't bounce around like toy cars. Edit: you're right it was an online race but still, I never saw anything as bad in GT sport.

An advice: soft race tyres are very expensives and absolutely not worthy. You'd better have more engine power than tyre grip if you want to stand a chance against the AI in GT3 single races. Buy only soft race tyres when they are required, otherwise they are useless as they cost you too many PPs and force you to low down the power too much to be competitive. Polyphony don't like soft race tyres too much as they base their whole game on the lack of grip.

@@kriskater racing softs are garbage they hardly last 5 laps by 4th lap your grip is gone racing hard are the best tires to use for everything above 5 lap race...as you go through lower PP regulated races you could shift to sport hard or IM tires switching tires drastically increases and decreases PP

@@kriskater np...there's lots of ways you can tune your cars to those performance levels without sacrificing power that's the last thing you want to give up...another way is if the race is not alot of straights you can take your max speed down to a point where it will drop the pp by alot you need the full custom transmission for that then you can play with the gears so you still have alot of acceleration and will be competitive without a heavy top speed

It's not as hard to earn credits as ppl like to make it out to be...most are just fickle and impatient and want their supercars for nothing....these are who the credit purchases are for...theres easy ways to make 650 to 700k an hr in the game to get the cars you want its really not that hard if you're a decent racer and finish them quickly
