i love how Sucker for Love plays with the idea of the infinite and immortality For The Gods, immortality is mundane, watching the same dreams in slightly different variations, until they find a point in their dreams what gives birth for so many paths For Buck, Immortality is a permanent Reminder of his failures, and living forever means he will eventually fail. so over infinity the weight of his failures will continue to pile up. right now he has an opponent, but even if he wins, it means nothing. there will be another loop, that repeats until he loses For our Protag, knowing that after everything ends, it will just begin again, while it does make you question the futility, you also realize that the loop never changes if you believe that. you make your concern true by believing it. and by knowing that there is a little bit of pointlessness to everything, means that failure ultimately means nothing either... if you remove the meaning of failure and give your successes meaning. then given infinite attempts you will eventually succeed

Isn't the game's whole purpose and theme about that kind of content? ...(later)... I've watched the video for a while, now I get it. The game is more like an adventure game than the usual visual novel dating sim. It crosses genres, and the spray bottle lets people play to enjoy just the adventure stuff and choices. It's a very hilarious and fun way to do it, rather than just having a switch to turn it off.

I like this game, though not much else to say that haven't already been said. I do wish that we could talk to Rhokzan more though, like non-mandatory chats. The protag does see her as a good (platoonic) girlfriend material, right? Which is why Spawn Partner just teleported Rhokzan? Could talk and explore what the protag would want to do with Rhokzan, or why she likes Rhokzan. (Maybe we're supposed to fill this in ourselves-- but in that case, just make it a multiple option choice then, so we can get a little player expression in.) Or oppositely, can have Rhokzan talk about the protag instead, using the knowledge she got from protag's family. (I assume different members died at different realities.) And just make all this optional talks, so that people who are here for the horror/adventure can skip that. I just feel like we could use more interactions with her, but maybe it's in appropriate timing, since you're technically in danger.

So in the last game we were playing an insanely lustfull guy who was hitting on reluctant Eldritch beings, here in the sequel, we play an asexual girl forced to reluctantly date a godess of lust and fertility... That's one hell of a subverssion of expectations, I gotta say. Interesting also that instead of bringing the apocalypse by dating the godess here we're trying to prevent it while the real threat are the humans themselves. I had forgotten about the first game until now. Pretty happy to see a sequel. You know what it reminds me of? Courage the Cowardly Dog. No, seriously, think about it. At any point you're not sure if something disturbing or funny is going to happen. The atmosphere and suspense is great, but it could be building towards either of those things. Anyway, weird comparisons aside, I think this is gonna be a lot of fun to watch.

_My eldritch nightmare cant be this cute_ Yess been waiting for this!! The odd booksellers so cute. I like that we see Muu in this game. I really want to learn the lore about her or what her not-humanoid for is. The music and atmosphere is real good! The adventure gamey aspect was a neat addition. The bass was basically an axe guitar lol. Sets up good scares. I do like changes to the house here and there. Love that Rhok'zahn was giving tutorials like the goatmom she is. Funny how Nanni can add words to her chants. I can see Buck being like the protag from the last game. Though i guess he didnt want sell the world for just a smooch. Love that Aunty Nyan Nyan can come in different fur colors. I like that that name stuck around. I like how there are three heart of the woods cause it matches the smooch meter. Didnt think Rhok'zan would be asking for it early on. The pajamas were cute. Really suits her lol. Billie was awesome and really cute. Cant wait for the next video~
