In Tennessee hog head cheese is called SOUSE !!! It doesn’t look like what YOU WERE EATING 😂 That’s soooo funny!!!! Don’t know what THAT WAS you had!!! That’s hilarious!!! But, being from south Alabama I’m VERY familiar with the boudin!!! A lot of people don’t realize it is made with liver! If you are in Gulfport and go to a seafood restaurant ask for fried crab claws. They are not what you think. They are NOT the giant stone crab claws that you dig the crab meat out of!!! Only in Gulfport or Biloxi Mississippi are the places that will know what a fried crab claw REALLY IS!!!! They are the best.

Well went out searching for boudin balls today while here in Texas. Found a small place here in Jasper TX called fish tails. For appetizers I had Boudin balls and green fried tomatoes< which are my favorite. The boudin balls were good ,the owner asked have you ever had these before. I’m guessing he asked because I didn’t say the name right twice.No I have not ,but I heard from some superstars there good😂. And your right $9.00 expensive for six of them. Then main course shrimp and crab gumbo first time for crab. Crab did nothing for me but shrimp and gumbo save the day. Will be going back for crawdads been a minute since I have had those. Oh and fried tomatoes love those
@RVUntethered8 ай бұрын
First, you're making me hungry. Second, we still haven't tried the boudin balls, but I'm cracking up at the owner's response to you. I could tell that some people were talking REALLY slowly for us. My only fear with the boudin balls, is that we bought them frozen and I won't know if it's right or not, when we cook them. But I suppose it tastes similar to boudin?? Gumbo is a hit..always! At the cajun jam, we had several people ask us if we knew what jambalaya was. I suppose it would be natural for people to have never tried most of these foods, seeing as how we were familiar with a lot of them and were still introduced to new ones.

Great video. I like the added how to say this word . Also I own a 7.3 gasser how do you find gas station when you are towing .
@RVUntethered8 ай бұрын
We really don’t trip plan our gas stops out, unless we are traveling in an area where we know there are long stretches without anything. We generally try to start looking for comfortable places to pull into, around the halfway to three-quarter mark. Our RV GPS has options on it as well, where it will show us that there are or aren’t gas options coming up in X amount of miles. Or you can search it. That has come in handy. It is definitely a disadvantage to having a gasser.

We put septic on it recently and cleared some trees, but that's all we've really done so far. We have stayed there very little, so we have a hard time putting a bunch of money in to it. We also have an RV lease spot in Illinois that we got about ten years ago. It's cheap and allows us to be near our kid, for quick stop in, so we haven't let it go.
