@noth606 Not to mention that upgrading the RAM yourself (when possible) is almost always more cost effective than doing it from the OEM. That's one reason I don't recommend the G14, because the RTX 4070 config, the only one with more than 16 GB of RAM, is almost the same price as the RTX 4060 Razer Blade 14, and that has a higher GPU power limit and upgradable RAM (you would have to do the RAM upgrade yourself, but unlike the G14, you can do so and save more cash).

U all know this? Segue vs Segway Segue is occasionally found spelled segway, even in edited text. There are two likely reasons for this: the familiar suffix -way (as seen in driveway and runway) seems to agree with the notion of a segue as a "path" along which something transitions; and the existence of the homophone Segway as a trade name for an American company that produces electric transportation devices. The standard spelling segue comes from the use of the word's Italian root as a direction in music, indicating a transition without interruption.

It conveniently broke a month after i got it back meaning no warranty. Never again. Biggest upside was the keyboard, loved that thing

I had an M15x I think it's called, for a fair while, i7, started with GTX-260 GPU, later upgraded to HD 5870 or so. But I'd only recommend it if one looks for essentially a transportable computer, not a laptop. You can't use something like mine as a laptop, you need wall power and a desk to use it. And a forklift truck to transport it. At minimum you are not going to transport anything else at the same time. But it was never loud or hot and is even today quite a fast computer. $200 for a mobo is not bad, it being so soon after replacement sounds like you would have had a potential dispute to bring to court if nothing else.

Those fans are very similar to those in an XPS, and the speakers appear to be the same. Better order spares of both before taxing it too much... Coming to think of it--why do you think XPSes sound better? It's the exact same speaker module I see in there...
