Yeah the locals had some sense, tucked up in their houses hiding from the snow haha. We felt like the only people on the planet at times. I definitely reckon we were the first white people they had probably seen in like three years. Northern Japan feels very untouched by tourism, I hope more people are inspired to visit rural Japan outside of main cities ❤️

It does look like quite the challenge to be in the cold like that. I lived in British Columbia and Alberta Canada over a span of 42 years and we definitely never chose to go anywhere "camping like" in the winter season. Too damn cold...lol. Ive left the cold winters for good and done miss them one bit..... ya'll are adventurous indeed. 👌😎👌

Well done! Loving this Japan series. You are truly capturing what Japan is like outside of the major metro areas. I lived in southern Japan (Sasebo) as a teenager for three years (a little of 60 years ago). The people, culture, cuisine, and history are truly magical. We travel North America (USA and Canada) in a much larger rig, but have been smitten by Alen. We hope to rent such a rig (although I heard that you cannot rent if over 70 years old) and travel through England, Ireland and Scotland in the near future. Thank you for the content.

We used to make pancakes like that! We called them scrambled pancakes. We’d let the first side cook and then stir it up until the batter was all cooked. You did good!! It’s all about how it tastes. 🤣🤣 prechewed. I remember when we were in Florida, stopped over for one day heading to the Amazon rainforest (where when we arrived humidity was 87) but in Florida on that day the humidity was 100%!!! I didn't even know that was possible! And one minute it was sunny and we went into the sea and then a big thunderstorm rolled in over the top of us. It was so cool, and so many people talked to us, we would love to come back for longer some time!

That was a fruit doodle . Philly has a stomach of iron . There's a lot of beautiful trees in that country . Here in America we are taught that a country hit Japan with a bomb. It was terrible/ awful . All the trees were wiped out and millions of people were killed for years . So I was wondering are we going to were the bomb hit . Now I wasn't going to comment on the hair because I didn't want Philly to say what's this guys problem . But Keely said look at . So you better believe that I did and oh yes I noticed it was down a lot in this video . I'm guessing with all the public bathroom Japan has a lot of places to wash your butt . Nature was beautiful and so was the construction of that bridge . Next time pour the chocolate back into the sauce pan then into the cups .

good idea on returning hot chocolate to saucepan first! Last time we were in Japan we went to Hiroshima, it was harrowing, it's south though so won't be returning this time round

@@phillyandkeely Well I got curious enough to watch a couple of videos about the change . It's amazing what it looks like now . Going on 78 years . They've made it a reminder of peace . Kept a little of the ruins . I saw the peace bell . I would of loved to of seen it through the eyes of you two . Maybe another time .

Yeah love getting a full body wash. Sitting on a wee bucket soaping yourself up and hosing yourself down next to little Japanese ladies, all very different to anything you would experience in UK 🤣🤣. Then after I went straight into the sauna and melted haha.

Alen literally had his name printed on the side, so he was easy to name lol. I think It feels like they have characters of their own in a weird way haha. But we name a lot of things lol, our plants, our drone. Things we are emotionally attached to typically get names haha
