Adam A5x's with the Sub 8 in an 11x14 room treated for first reflections. May switch to the Focal Solo6s but the Adams just work for me.

Hey, Archie. Greetings, Man. Thanks for your video. Nicely presented as per usual. I like your monitor choice. The Focal. They look like they mean business. I still use the Yamaha NS-10M Studio. They work for me. I am contemplating upgrading to the Adam A7V's. Modern tech. Not heard a single negative thing about them. Pure positives. An they look super cool.

the best thing about Adams and Fluid monitors is integration with sonarworks/soundiD... most of our rooms are not treated well and the best way to counter that is to measure the room and monitors and use room correction for any type of speakers, any brand and simply tame room modes... but with Adams and Fluids you can properly "correct" your speakers once, upload that profile to them and run them as that forever... without latency or external units, plugins etc... they simply are in sync and you get the best "phantom" stereo image trough whole spectre. in mixing, the name of the game is translation, i changed lots of monitors over the years, and settled on Adam a77H... i have never heard "truer" sound before in my studio than after i properly set them with the measurement. and after that i had no problems with translating on other systems.

Exactly. I don't know what I would've done in some of my previous rooms without Sonarworks SoundID. That's awesome that you have the A77H and they work for your room and situation. Thanks for commenting.

I have the A7x but I’m still trying to learn them. My room is small for now but once I truly understand them, I’d like to get the fluid
@archiebeatz10 ай бұрын
Hey man! What's up? How are you and the family. Yes, great choice. The A7X works perfect in most size rooms..large or small. Adam really thought quality and versatility with their A series.

I currently have a pair of mixcubes and KrK VTX 6. I'm looking to get a pair of Focal Twin6. Have you used them before?
@archiebeatz10 ай бұрын
Great pair of monitors man. KRK V series are definitely in my top 5 and the mixcubes should be in all studios - or a set of monitors that have a midrange focus switch. Thanks for sharing.

Off topic question: What's the best budget audio interface under $200 that has voice effects like reverb and basic EQ? I'm currently looking at the Revelator IO24 but I'm not sure if it has reverb. The reason behind this is I just want to use it for streaming and discord and don't want to bother with software. Thanks! Hope I get a reply from you soon.

In that price range I'd go for a Focusrite 2i2 and forget about the onboard effects. If the onboard effects are essential and Podcasting is your focus look into a used RodeCaster Pro.

Hey a lot of high level people are on trios, notably Noah 40 Shebib. But then again, you’re wearing a focal shirt, how do I know if you’re being real about it or not? Maybe everything else in ur channel is honest but this might as well be marketing? Idk i might be wrong completely. But on the other hand, Goat mixers like Jaycen on ATCs, Serban on ProAcs, a lot on Amphions, NS10s….Reason for this huge ass comment is that, I am looking to buy a really good pair of monitors but if possible save money and not go extreme spending like ATCs. Unfortunately I can’t demo any of them, so I gotta rely on KZbin. Any opinions on this comment is greatly appreciated!
