There are walk-in clinics in Canada, where you can go if you don’t have a doctor but your issue isn’t so urgent that you need to go to the ER. I have some friends that don’t have a family doctor and that is basically how they deal with everything. They can’t follow up with you like a family doctor can, but it can usually get you by. The situation for finding a family doctor depends on the area you are in. We have a bit of a crisis here because a lot of doctors leave because they can make a lot more money in the US with the for-profit healthcare system, unfortunately.

You’re correct about the double axel trailer. You’re dead in the water if you have a single axel and you blow a tire. My hubby bought a double axel enclosed trailer not long ago and we are very happy with the purchase. I did one DD kit with crystals and the clear ones were def larger to the point of having to not use them and find drills from my stash to sub in. The colored crystal drills weren’t as bad. I hesitate now to purchase any DD kits that have crystal drills. You’ll have to verify me, but I don’t believe docs can call in scripts to states they are unlicensed in. I used to work in both retail and hospital pharmacy and the rules may have changed or may be different than in NY, but worth checking out. May be able to use a mail order pharmacy to get by that. 🤞you are able to figure your med issues out. I’ll be sending positive thoughts your way. Susan.

I definitely don't want to be trying to change a flat on a busy highway!! I'll definitely have to ask some questions about meds - I remember being on vacation once and having our doc call in a script to the pharmacy, and then we were able to go to that pharmacy chain where we were and get the script. Or maybe we'll just have to come back for a visit until we get everything worked out!! Thanks for watching!!

All required medical scans are free. Like 2 years ago I broke my leg how to have surgery with a metal rod put in it was a double compound fracture but I'm certain that it's the ambulance bills the prescriptions as well as about a 25 to $60 cancellation fee debending what it was about everything for just about everything and also you definitely need to get a family doctor like ASAP and Atlantic Canada's rent took a hit of up to 30% increase in Nova Scotia we pay 15% Hst and we can't get groceries for less than 500 bucks twice a month (for 4 people) Also the Airbnb sang I mentioned for when you're traveling from the US to Canada you really should look into it as it will save you a lot of money and you'll get more space than you would in a hotel

Oh Daphne, I wish your hubby was still doing line work because western NC is totaled. It is destroyed. It’s heartbreaking. Yes. Tornados are bad, but a hurricane or cyclone in the mountains is devastating. No cell service, internet, power, etc. the little tourist village at the base of Chimney Rock was completely washed away. Hi Daphne. I hope so much that soon you'll know why you feel so unwell and that it can be addressed easily. I have got medical burnout myself. I'm almost counting the days for my MRI in October that I've been waiting for all year. I'm doing a lot of fasting to help with my pain issues. I'd been able to go off my last diabetes tablet that with me being so low carb and with fasting. Maybe when you move hubby might want to try keto (I've been carnivore since July last year - it's not for everyone), or low carb. I do hope you'll be able to move soon and that it won't be too big of a hassle. I feel sorry for your son waiting to move to start work. Take care Daphne. ❤

Hello, I'm in Toronto and have received medications across the border with no difficulty. You should be able to do the same. I believe that pharmacies give you a 6 month grace period and then you can go to an urgent care clinic or walk-in clinic. They are everywhere. Finding a new doctor isn't too hard here. We have medical schools close by and doctors set up practices all the time. When you talk about Canada, make sure to say Atlantic Canada. It is completely different there than the other provinces. You have offended me on occasion until you said Atlantic Canada. ps: come visit, I would love to show you around the golden horseshoe.
