I Can't Sit Still.

Same. I walk fast, talk fast, think fast, drive fast, on and on. Always been this way. I hate anything slow and always feel guilty if I am not accomplishing something. When I do something, it has to be perfect. You can see it as a problem, but only if you contrast it with how most other people are, or you can accept that you are different, that it is just how you are wired. Like with anything, there is an upside and a down side. No particular way is "right". Still though, silence and stillness should be practiced and cultivated, for balance. I have been a meditator for 50+ years and I highly recommend it. As Blaise Pascal said: "All men's miseries derive from not being able to sit in a quiet room alone".

50 years? Wow…That’s really cool. I hope you find peace in those quiet times❤️ I do yoga, which actually really helps. But I’ve been meaning to start a mediation practice, if you have any advice, feel free to share them! (But one thing, maybe don’t drive fast…)

People try to make you feel boring for ever taking time away from the constant stimulation. I think we pressure ourselves into always absorbing more and more because it will somehow make us more interesting or something. We are most interesting and authentic underneath all the muck of this toxic overstimulation amusement park. Some people are addicted to money and can't help but try to focus all the world's eyeballs on their stupid shit. Love you girl, keep it up.

Yeah you’re not alone. I got this too. Always feel like I gotta be doing something or I’m falling behind. I also bury my emotions just to push through. Trying to slow down tho, take a break, and let all the bad stuff out
