guys on no fap this is a very good advice: Whatever is let it be, whatever emotions you have in your brain let them be When you fight them they grow, let them be dont expect them to go away The more you do it THE EASIER IT WILL BE and they will go away :) you suffer because you desire them to go away.

Progressive deloading is great advice. I'd add that you shouldn't hate yourself for failing. Don't make relapsing so dramatic, just aim to get better every day and you'll get there. As Hamza said, if you fap, preferably use your imagination or vanilla amature porn, preferably girls only. For me personally it took around 4 years to get from eveyday jacking to no more than once every 2 months when I'm just overflowing with urges. You'll get there, keep trying.

@@hamzaunfiltered I've experienced something a bit different in the journey to leave fapping and porn. I wanted to feel as disgusted as possible, some by myself but mostly by the habit of this. The more of a shock I had the more days I stayed clean. Then after 14days or something I turned myself fully to religion, it helped. I've not fapped since 4 months now. Idk it was just straight from 2-3 days to 4 months, God really helped.

Honestly, I get Hamza’s point, but cutting down on porn can actually make quitting way tougher. In *Easy Peasy Way to Quit Porn*, it talks about how trying to cut back just keeps you hooked because you’re still telling yourself it has some value. That little bit you allow yourself makes it way more tempting and keeps the addiction alive. The book’s whole idea is that if you just quit completely and see porn for the trap it is, you don’t even miss it. Trying to slowly reduce is like trying to quit smoking by having “just one” every now and then-it usually just drags it out and makes it harder. Going cold turkey sounds intense, but it actually makes breaking free so much easier.
@hamzaunfiltered14 күн бұрын
I don't know a single person who discovered nofap and quit and never fapped again. Not a single person. I've personally helped thousands of young men and millions on youtube, and I still have yet to see that.

But it is an addiction that has degrees of severity. The daily fapper who needs 10 different vids of a specific niche each time is much worse off than the guy who has abstained for 2 weeks and can get off to any single vid from the home page. The second guy is less desensitized and much less likely to suffer the side effects of fapping since it is too infrequent to have a big effect on them, whereas the first person needs at least an hour a day dedicated to their sessions and it is likely stealing energy away from other important tasks in their life. They are not the same just because they both engage in fapping.

A good question to ask yourself to quit is, why did you start watching and why do you want to stop. Understanding why you started will give you a place to start fixing your life and productive things to do to replace porn with. Understanding why you want to stop will give you the strength to deal with the inevitable suffering of withdrawal. If you give yourself a REAL reason to quit and maintain it, no amount urges will let you go back.

I've lived in Thailand for a few months (Chiang mai). I can confirm what Hamza is saying is right HOWEVER don't rush into it. Make sure you have developed discipline and a routine first so you don't end up being that drunk and aimless foreigner who's always in bars. Then you have to go home anyway because you ran out of money or just fell off.

A lot of guys in rural America actually do have hobbies and stuff to do with people outside of schooling. People might play football or baseball for 2 hours, then have dinner with the guys or do farm work, then have dinner with your family or group of guys then finally ride dirt bikes or have a bonfire. Although it’s not at all similar to the hustling city culture, it’s a very similar tribal lifestyle.

One thing that works fairly well is to keep yourself occupied. I have a creative outlet that keeps my brain occupied. Another thing is instant gratification. I find it's easier to do good when you don't eat sugary foods and scroll social media. If you're into fasting, you can improve your willpower by resisting the urge to eat, which in turn will help with other urges. If you do decide to do fasting, I recommend intermittent fasting at a low rate as it takes some time getting used to. Hope this helps.

Any addiction comes down to one thing, which is not having control over your brain. If you can't see, tell and feel in your mind that you're living without that addiction, you'll never overcome it, simple as that.

I had the same problem, I'm at day 4 now. I can suggest to him to just delete every trigger on your phone. Block 18+ content on your phone via settings and put a security code. That will give you enough time normally to realize what you're doing. Also deleting socials can help and also with dopamine and of course Hamza's advice.

Guys, when you find something that REALLY inspires you and is authentic to who you are, doing the work becomes a running joke because every time it's almost time to work you'll be like "Oh shit here comes the fucking suffering..." and then it just never comes. It really seems to be the thing you're naturally good at that works this way. Recently happened to me and today was a kinda shit, porn addiction, low motivation day and I still just naturally put in 5 hours. I'd recommend you try a bunch of shit you literally never would have thought of and try to figure out how fast you seem to progress as a beginner compared to other people. I really like fighting but I'm just not a natural at it - maybe you are - but so I was progressing really slowly, even though I worked at it. Turns out I'm really good specifically at music production - and so at this rate I'll be at 10k/month soon! If I let my ego dictate my career though I would still be struggling blocking simple jabs, but now I'm just naturally in it. Dunno if this makes sense, but you gotta find out what you are made for - we're all made for different things.

I used to do it 5 times a month but when you have a girl it honestly made it worse for me because whenever i talk to her i end up getting more horny and started relapsing more. in my opinion, this is how I get through the days when I relapse, for me I would rather be that guy who is successful in every area of his life (money, family, health, brotherhood, knowledge, physique... BUT has one habit. than to be that guy who is a loser in every area Except NOfap. Think about it how many men out there are good when women and always sleeping with them, now think about how many men out there who are really successful, so my advice to you is to keep moving forward from time to time you will relapse but keep moving I myself stopped with this whole nofap for two years now I focus on everything else except it, double down on other self-improvement areas I forget about nofap. you don't wanna be that guy whose only achievement is 3000 days nofap but nothing else.

Hamza bro, i genuinely want you to make a video on Burnout, not mental, physical, and does that make a sense to fight it, or just give yourself a rest, i mean, burnout in me, i like overtraining, but even worse, sometimes I can't wake up, I'm tired as f, i hit plateaus as well, and what's worse, is muscle cramps and fever, sickness, all that stuff, and now Insomnia, had it yesterday, i hate it so much, i hate that thing, i hitted push day, ate a lot of calories, and slept for around 5-6 hours, dang it bro, maybe it's a sign that i can push myself to limits, but i want to avoid burnout and overtraining, 2 years of working out in the gym, look like 8 months of consistency, because i skipped gym, because of sickness, maybe injuries, finances... Couldn't pay for membership, etc. but anyway, burnout is an important topic bro

It's completely normal to jerk off when you're a healthy young man. It's only an issue if it affects your daily activities. If you'd rather edge for hours instead of lifting or working, then yes it is a problem. But the solution is not quitting, the solution is simply moderation. If you do it 1-2 times per day it is perfectly normal. As guys get into their 30s, 40s or older, they don't usually exercise so their testosterone levels drop to a very unhealthy level so the urge to fap goes away completely and that is bad because they're not real men at that point.

isnt less fap similar to playing one hour of video games per day? isnt it the same concept
@sadgetrollge561414 күн бұрын
If you're addicted to playing video games, you're replacing a social need with a parasocial one (like playing COD instead of going to the gym with your bros) Oftentimes with PMO (porn, masturbation, orgasm), it's the same way except for replacing time spent with women with artificial stimulation. But there's a key difference, which is you need some kind of sexual stimulus every once in a while. Of course, unless you're a master at sexual transmission, which is esoteric and only suited for people who've gone fapping 1-2 times a month already. But the point is that an hour of video games a day is going to have a much greater dopamine kick than staring at the wall and jerking it for 2 minutes and then going back to whatever you were doing before. One is disruptive and the other is necessary.
@xanderwindeymusic14 күн бұрын
No because videogames are artificial, playing with ur pp is not. If u deload it max u can do is just masturbate without porn or just a pic and then do that less and less. Literally no problem. U dont progressively deload from 1hr of videogames to 50 min, do you?
@pranabkhandual568714 күн бұрын
if seen that way, the goal is to reduce the frequency, like 1 hour per day , to 1 hout/day for 5 days a week . then reducing it further after 1 or 2 weeks of following
