I just had to come back and leave a comment; I mostly cook with dark meat(Chicken breast is the least desired cut of chicken where I’m from) but I like buying whole chickens to get variety of pieces. So this morning I decided to marinate the chicken just like you did then I pan fried it and served it with Mashed potatoes, Honey-glazed carrots and Melted onions(I had to make those after seeing your video this morning). My husband loved all the food he said the chicken and the onions especially were amazing!

The chicken looks incredible! However, I just have to say that you’re so likeable. You seem like a positive dude and you bring a little joy to my day every time I watch one of your videos. I know you took a little break to deal with some personal stuff and I just hope you’re doing well!

I just made this tonight and it was freaking UH-MAZING!!! If you’re concerned about making this please don’t be! I used chicken tenderloins and marinated for about an hour in the fridge and cooked them in a regular copper pan. My son, who is totally picky, was in love and ate everything I put on his plate! I will definitely be making this again. good grief was it good. PS…don’t be scared of the color when you’re marinating. It looks so saturated and I actually worried that it would be too much seasoning because it was COVERED! I swear you will love this! Saving this recipe right now! 🤩🎉

Sonny, I had to give an update to my last comment where I planned on making this with rice and vegetables because I'm trying to keep my calorie count down. Well, I fell extremely sick over the weekend and didn't eat anything but a couple bowls of soup, so I decided to use this recipe to make chicken sandwiches today. I used a Portuguese roll, made a garlic aioli, cut the rolls and toasted on broil, cut side down, spread both sides with the aioli after the outside was slightly browned, set the top of the roll aside, dressed bottom of roll with shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion, chicken, mozzarella, and broil open face. Add more shredded lettuce and add the top. Season with salt with each layer. Truly one of the best sandwiches I've had in my life

Those sear marks look absolutely amazing and I have the exact same kind of skillet. I commented on your vinaigrette video that my brother's wedding is coming up soon and I am on a diet so I'll be serving with cauliflower and a side of a little bit of rice. Thanks Chef!

Hey Sonny... I finally cranked this out and oh my god it was amazing! Has to be some of the best chicken I ever made... only adjustment I made was I left out the chili flake (I can't handle spicy) and used a lime at the end (forgot to buy a lemon). Now my wife wants me to make it again tomorrow. Thanks for the easy to follow directions and the tip about how to cut the chicken breast... I always used to just cut it from one end to the other without ever looking at the grain... thought that whole "cut against the grain" thing was only for steak... mind and taste buds blown!
