Too many overscaled tracks on bikes imo. Tracks you need to be fully pinned and railing corners just to clear a jump. You can’t learn them at a comfortable pace cause you can’t hit the jumps.

On the 250 (yz at least), keeping momentum is everything and yz makes its power in high rpm. 2nd gear is really good in high rpm and 3rd is perfect once you get back into it. You’ll get it in no time glad to see you relearning the 250s!

Played this track for like an hour and couldn't get any triples consitantly, track is sick but I think the way the creator made the jump faces is a reason why its so hard to hit those triples

The only thing that makes tripling so difficult, seems to be that little raised area before you start the rhythm, if that was knocked down you'd be able to no problem

idk if i messed something up on my game… ever since oem 18 bikes the game feels sooooo much harder to play. i’m not complaining. just wanna know if it’s supposed to be or if i messed something up in my settings. any ideas?

Not an expert by any means but I feel you. I think they just feel different. I was just getting decent on the old bikes and the new ones made me not be able to stay on 2 wheels. Fought through it and it's finally feeling good but yeah they do feel way different.

So in my opinion, mastering the 250 doesn’t translate at all to the 450 since they ride so different. Just pick whichever one you vibe with more, or which style of riding you prefer. Instead of using them as progression like you would irl. I prefer the 450, mainly for supercross. But there’s definitely people with 500+ hours and still suck on the 450s. Ofcourse I’m referring to the first minute of the vid.

I play first person when I’m playing by myself but just to show off the track and different perspectives of the game, I do a couple laps in third person before switching back to what I’m comfortable with
