I can't wait any longer for Gundam Breaker 4 (Open Network Test)

Needless to say this is easily the peak of the franchise, but what disappoints me is the online itself honestly. Having to go out of your way to connect to a player hosted multiplayer lobby to start a multiplayer quest, which doesn't even matter cuz players outside of that lobby can join your team for said quest anyway, is kinda silly, especially since you can join multiplayer quests straight from the single player lobby anyway. Game's still the peak of the Breaker series easy, but that's why it needs more criticism if you ask me lol

Loved part scaling, I made a giant gunpla with the baundoc scaled to max size and gave it the ability to breakdance and do wings of light. It could do some really fun combos and couldn’t fit on the screen half the time and was taller than the master grades.

Played quite a bit during the big day they had servers open and I admit this is going to be a great addition to my switch library. The AI could be pretty impressive at times

Out of curiosity, how did it run on Switch?

In-game obviously graphic fidelity has been lowered so it even runs, but I was surprised at how it maintained a fairly steady framerate, though there were times it dipped when things got really busy on-screen. Multiplayer had the issue you mentioned with syncing a few times, but overall transitioned smoothly between lobbies and in and out of games. This was all on a switch lite, so Idk how performance differs when docked on the full system. Edit: I felt the system strained the most when editing your gunpla, it was choking on loading all those resources, but nothing deal-breaking as you have a lot of editing tools it has to render

As someone who has put thousands of hours into GB3 I can't wait for GB4 everything from the details to the parts an combos to the customizing UI felt good. My only complaint is that their method of linking up with friends an like u mentioned the D Sync issue in ace fights.

My final build had only 4 stars parts and the amount of passing skills was great. The quality of simple builds with just a solid attack loop rather than having fancy OP and EX skills was working nicely. I like that any build is viable.

Yea I noticed that I never really needed to use my healing EX for some reason and then realized that one of my parts gave me health back when dealing damage, I really like the potential for buildcrafting

I found a fun combo with a normal and gyan beam saber. Iets just say if I launched something in the air it was going to get hurt.

i love the fact the abilities worked the way they did if you rocked tons of shield funnels using the skill dropped all u set for it same w missile pods which if you loaded down w those means a huge cooldown but a big dump and dmg burst same w the funnels on the jagd doga if you set each arm using one fired both so you didnt need to settem both and could set one and a dif skill which btw jagd doga arms w sazabi back and shield funnels was great just super strong then go for parts for skills like missiles cannons melee weps etc going for parts that gave you tons of skills to choose from to load both pallets out was great wish we had 2 for the ex skills tho given they are more limited but if you use funnels your meter is stuck waiting on the timers for those less manually return them so a second pallet would be nice for using meter if im popping off and building it one huge issue is ranged guns have no visual meter on indicators to show when they are about to be dry/ reloading also noticed some weird instances where id just randomly be stuck unable to move jump nothing till hit idk what caused it also def pay attention to weps id they have left/right skills i didnt see the combo list or button for it also some menus were so long theyd be hidden by the displayed button things at screen bottom they need to fix this ui issue and allow you to look at skills to see a desc some are confusing to me and w no way to see them directly vs just a page of what you have is annoying

Those 2 blue bars on the side is your range weapon ammo/energy not a targeting reticle

Granted, I Think it's cause it's.... VERY Early on, so there's probablhy gonna be some sucky drop rates until you get skills that up them, but I'm honestly looking forward to the fully thing. Also, I'm in August now, and it's pratically almost suffocating to wait for so long.

'cause I don't wanna see another The Crew 1 & GT Sport situation happening right before my eyes in my Gundam game, and I prefer to avoid these types of games myself whenever possible like TDU Solar Crown for example

You have to specifically choose to enter a multiplayer lobby to even play with other people, you can absolutely just stick to playing solo!

I like that there's english voice acting.. it was a little annoying in sd gundam battle alliance having no idea what my "teammates" were chattering about.. I'll def be getting the platinum trophy, probably a lot of solo play as i doubt anyone i know is getting it -.-

Yea it kinda sucks but it makes sense because how can you balance everything in the game like this to b pvp and pve that would b extremely hard. PVP works in armored core another mech builder game because you can't upgrade parts or add enhancments to them everyone is rocking the same base stats with different combos of parts.
