well done sir. I have seen Threads. and a snip of Purgatory. You are right.I know a wee bit about the Chechen war (I will not say 1st or 2nd because in a way it is still going n and as long as Putin supports his strong man there and as long as he is sending troops to the Kursk Oblast. Putin holds peace by a thread. I do not believe it will hold.

could you help me to understand the scene: where the chechen commander talking to russian tank commander "koroba-2". the chechen show a russian military top secret document with just 3000 copies made named "gruz-200" he say this is how you russian prepare to defeat us. but in pages of the document, i can only see 200 on the pages and nothing else. do you think this is just an error of movie making crew or it was a story purpose,

I personally think it was more of a creative licensing to make it feel like the Russians didn't care and would send more and more into the meat grinder those gruz 200 pages were meant to go on the ambulances or medevac vehicles to show they had wounded or dead.

@ I’m sure it’s on your list. Unfortunately after the Russian revolution most things relating to pre-Soviet Russia were destroyed.. statues , buildings , artwork .. even while libraries😱 Such a shame

I've read a lot about it and it is very sad to hear that especially during the russian civil war and ww2 most of the imperial russian buildings/infrastructure was destroyed. There are still a few buildings from pre soviet russia i have on my list to see one day.
