Totally psyched with the break down by Jamie on the the commit, work, and finish on the wave to success. For someone that has no idea about how magical and addictive surfing is in real life it gave me a taste of the danger and excitement play by play. Great job Justin, Jackson, and the rest of the crew. I totally love watching the surfing videos show cased by Jamie, his crew, and other world class legends that hang out with him for a day of fun on the waves. These Psych sessions are so awesome. Very cool! MAHALO for taking so much time showing how you won!! I took 1 drop at Pipe when I was 22. I got smashed into ground beef!. The drop was so steep it was crazy.I remember watching my feet leaving my board in slow motion, next thing I know my back is sliced up and I'm sitting on the beach shaking my head! That was the 1st and only Pipe experience in 1981!🏄🏽‍♂️🤙❤

And that you're riding these waves on your backside makes it that much sweeter. A lot of people don't realize the hop up and wave setup is more difficult on your backside, but Jamie makes it look effortless on these vertical drops.

Totally agree with the others regarding the wave choice for the award. May not of had the best pure technique as the first one, but for pure gut it out take off, bottom turn and time in tube after spit it's not even close. The second ride was like a magic trick, is he or isn't he still inside the wave.
