Can't even imagine going through heavy rain like that on such a loaded bagger, glad you made it safely

Yeah it was a bit wild out there! Glad I made it too. It’s all part of it though right. Good experience for me, definitely learnt a lot. Appreciate the view and comment! ✌️

It really does, never experienced anything like it. Certainly makes you feel alive. Sounds like you’ve been there before. Any advice? Thanks so much for your comment and support! ✌️

Yes , got caught out in heavy rain in between Bathurst and Carcoar , vision was shocking , just had to slow down and take it easy. Time we got to Carcoar Pub i reckon i had half a litre of water in each boot 🤨. These are the moments we remember as riders 👍

@Shawry777 yeah got to love water in the boots! It sure does make for a memorable ride!

Hey there. In 2018 I went on a 3 weeks road trip to North East Canada. In the middle of the first day sunshine changed to rain. And it continued for the whole week. Loaded KTM 1290 Super Adventure, and of course knobby tires))) A good Gore-Tex suit and boots. Piece of cake! Ride safe and don't stress.

A week of it would have been next level. Hard when everything is wet. I know we need to make the most of it but it does get a little disheartening when you wake up and it’s has another day of rain. I will definitely be investing in better rain gear. Especially one not so easily burnt. Do you have a recommendation on which one you found to be the best. Also looking into new boots that are higher and better grip on the road when stoping. Thanks for the comment hope you enjoyed the video. ✌️

@@bagger_blvd It's irritating only two days. On the third day your mind just says - oh, well.. ))) I ride adventure bikes and therefore my gear and clothing is s bit different from Harley style. I'm a big fan of Klim gear. They make some of the finest Gore-Tex adventure clothing. I always wear tall adventure boots with Gore-Tex membrane. They breathe good and keep your feet dry. If I was you I'd install a better heat shield on that pipe.

@DmitriOcean awesome! Haha yeah you’re not wrong about the heat shield. The price I pay for having a bike I want the performance bagger look with the touring comfort. Adventure bikes look like so much fun. I’d love to do out back Australia on one. Hitting all the dirt tracks. Future goals.

@@bagger_blvd yeah, I was a cruiser guy for 15 years until one day. A 4,000 miles road trip riding the Wild West. Arizona, Nevada, California. I decided to visit ghost town of Bodie. The last leg of the road leading to the town is pretty rough unpaved. I'm with passenger dancing between 1st and 2nd gear on a rented Street Glide. And then I saw a bunch of guys on adventure bikes just flying passing me. That was it for me. ))) I have a video of that place on my channel.

Recommend a Halvarssons Neck Collar. Wind and water proof stretchable mantle that goes from the helmet over the front of the chest. Lives in my pannier in cooler months, ride with it on in winter. No neck tickles. Great adventure.

Just looked it up, that would definitely help out with the water especially down the top. Looks small and easy to store in the pannier. Great tip!! thanks heaps. Looks like ill be taking that on my next trip.

A few years back I rode my vfr800 from London to Prague in 1 day. Was alright until I left Calais. Storm all the way through to Prague. They don't have lit motorways in Czechia so Imagine this kind of weather in pitch black with heavy heavy rain. Cant see the sides of the road and doing 50mph+. Super windy, branches all over the road. Just glued myself to someone's backlights and hoped they wont crash or that there wont be big enough log on the road. Trial by water for bikers I guess. Hope you won't have to experience that again, though in UK... Oh well =D well done anyways!

I think that tops what I went through. I feel for anyone caught out in heavy storms. I would love to ride in Europe and other countries in the future and experience there roads!! Thanks for watching ✌️
