I've never seen a van life video like this. im very used to seeing some go on a crazy adventure, not actually living and working thier life. Its really cool, keep it up!

I work manufacturing. I stay in my car because im sick of the continuing price hike on everything. Apartments and houses.... No. Ive been in my big 4 door car for a month and I know I made the right choice for me. I eat out every night and do what I want. Shower at 24hr Gym, 24 hr Grocery store. Have my essentials in a storage building for $16 a month. With all my bills now, I spend about $500 a month for what I need, including food. The rest is MINE. And I am working my job saving for a van. I can control everything about it. These price demands have gotten out of hand. I only need to sleep inside the car. The rest, im working anyways. Its winter. I have a blasting heater hosed to a propane tank in the trunk. $20 a week in propane and Im toasty warm and comfortable. My phone is unlimited Data. I have the money to eat out whenever and whatever I want. I live in a legal state, we have 24 hr drive thru for smoke. All the time, Im working and saving for my van . With it I can control everything thats gotten out of control. If I dont like something or I want a change, I just put it in drive.

Dude... All of the sudden you became my oldest brother. He lived in Salmon Idaho and worked like you... Helicopter Logging, BLM, County Roads always driving his willys wagon. You have a similar personality and your laugh is dead on. Thanks for the memories!

I don’t think I could handle that kind of cold 🥶 I left Mount Shasta California in October and came to the Central California coast. It’s nice seeing the beach every day. It’s not warm, but it’s balmy compared to where you are. Best of luck to you.

Yeah, that's rough. I tried living in a 19' trailer in SoCal during the winter after I broke up with my ex. Thought I would love it, but it ended when the trailer park was flooded from high surf. I love camping, but not full-time. Admire your perseverance!

I can’t stand them! I spent 10 years sleeping primarily in hotels. Racked up those points! Now that I have the option to sleep in my own bed everynight I choose my bed!

Wonder if Dejong (hope i spelled it right) got out where he was parked. also wondering if your front defrost vents works? does the TDI generate enough heat?
@Sebastianstonum10 сағат бұрын
He got stuck for an hour, lost his phone, and showed up late for work😂 The heater core hoses in this van are like 15 feet long since the engine is in the back, the defrost and heater is almost nonexistent!
@jesusdenver821121 сағат бұрын
Curious though I been watching some of your recent videos and you kept mentioning access to campground being close due to weather but couldn't you move around parking lot every night? One night Walmart another night target another mcD and kept going
@Sebastianstonum20 сағат бұрын
I’ve been trying to stay out of town. I slept in the hotel parking lot just because I already had a room there and I know I can sleep better in my own bed than a hotel bed. But before that I’ve been able to avoid sleeping in town for over a month! Sleeping roadside in town is pretty easy but but not on snow days. Same with parking g lots. Everything gets cleared for plowing.
@Sebastianstonum20 сағат бұрын
And when I work I do t even have to drive to town even though it’s 20 minutes away. The places I camp out are 10-20 minutes away and way quieter
