Just to inform you…two of these men, Mick Jagger & Keith Richards just turned 80! And they STILL have rock & roll hearts!

Drummer Charles (Charlie) Watts said that when he was asked to play with The Rolling Stones he thought it would last maybe a year. He was with them from 1963 to 2021 when he passed away. Legends! I've seen them twice.

Nice reaction! Mick and the Stones are always fun to watch. I recommend the 1968 live performance of 'Sympathy for the Devil' at the Rock n Roll Circus if you want to see Jagger get wild in his prime!

Loved your genuine and fun reaction! This song and video are as fresh as when they came out in 1981! It's such a simple concept but so fun with the looks exchanged among them. Charlie Watts' (drummer) reactions are priceless.

Great reaction! What always makes me laugh with this song and music video is that, at the time of recording, Mick Jagger was only 39, two years older than I am now, and yet he looked about 60...now, he's 80 and looks pretty much the same! It's crazy when you consider the absolutely insane amount of drugs and alcohol those guys have consumed throughout their careers!

Jagger eased up on the drugs, booze, cigarettes as he has to sing. His father was a PE teacher and Mick worked out from childhood, even had a trial with Kent to play cricket.

I love your reactions and your appreciation of the music. I came to this video after watching your heartfelt appreciation of Pink Floyd. I want to suggest to you the studio recording of the Rolling Stones song "Gimme Shelter". Same kind of story as with Floyd's Great Gig In the Sky that you loved where the back up vocalist Merry Clayton came down in the middle of the night, pregnant, and laid down the powerful backup (I believe in one take?) that adds the final element to this raw song. It's a different feel from the intense Great Gig, but I think you might like it if you are adding to your Rolling Stones catalog.

Mick is dancing all the way to his billion quid bank account, as we speak. Greatest Rock n Roll band out there. full stop. More people have seen Mick live than any other human being in history. they're doing something right. Still relevant now, in their eighties, 60 years into their career. They often open gigs with this track and through their sound system live it takes on a whole new flavour. they are a very loud band live.

Two great and contrasting songs by the Stones to check out are 1) the often overlooked "She's So Cold" (only the official music video, though, which is here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKCWZYmem8iYqrc ); and 2) "You Can't Always Get What You Want." This is by far the best version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIbUhIGYf9p6hdk showing the depth and versatility of this song. Not a live video, but still the best.

The video that ushered the Rolling Stones into the MTV 1980s. The thing that a lot of people do not realize is that this track almost never came to be. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards had major differences over it. It was originally discarded, but fortunately it was subsequently rescued from obscurity and oblivion. I'm can't remember if MTV censored the last line in this video back in the early 80's. The lyrics are full of other risqué double entendres, but after many repetitions of "You make a grown man cry," he ends it with "You make a dead man come." You talked over it, so you didn't catch it.

This was a classic from 1981 - the album 'Tattoo you' by The Rolling Stones... By that point, the band had been together for 2 decades and were bigger than ever. However, despite the goofy music video and good vibes... the band was falling apart at the time... Mick Jagger and Keith Richards (guitar) who wrote all the original hits by The Rolling Stones were fraying... Jagger was already looking at a solo career in the 80's and did not want to write another record w/ Richards, apparently... So, Keith Richards & the band apparently worked on a bunch of songs that had never been completed in the studio and that became the 'Tattoo you' album w/ Jagger writing the lyrics... In the end, Richards didn't think it was a good record and hated the album title 😂while Jagger said the band sounded like it lacked unity. Guitarist Ronnie Wood was so messed up on drugs that he nearly didn't make the tour. However, the fans disagreed... 'Start me up' became a huge hit and 'Tattoo you' went to #1 on the charts... The Rolling Stones '81 tour was their biggest at that point... selling out stadiums. But after the tour ended, the band fractured and did not tour again until Jagger and Richards finally made peace in 1989 and released the album 'Steel wheels'.

Great reaction, newbie! LOL, I mean that as a compliment (Veteran reaction vid addict here, heh). 1967-1973 was the most effusive eruption of rock and roll brilliance ever. The Stones had their best stuff come out then, for one thing. Still, they ALSO rocked in 1981 (this video). Jagger IS a lot of fun! (Watch Tina Turner sometime--Mick admits that SHE taught him how to dance!) Good call on Charlie (drummer) "saying" "I'm just here." His vibe for sure, lol! Try Zeppelin next! There was a YT channel called St Sanders who would dub in absurd audio into classic rock videos like this one. And it was hilarious. And they dub in a laugh track. MJ is so amusing and the others are too. Classic!

Most of their songs have a lewd lyric or two. This one, at the end he sings "you make a dead man come"

Keith literally wants to be anywhere else during this video lol. and that's him being under the influence, imagine how much his facial reactions would be of him not wanting to be there if he was sober.
