I caught a swarm in my swarm trap! August 2021

In early August 2021, one of my hives swarmed at the top of a tree and on the next day decided to move into a swarm trap that I had installed two years prior as an attempt to catch wild bees (without success). In this video, I will show you how the original swarm looked like and the process that I followed to move it from the swarm trap into a normal Langstroth deep body box.
I realize that this video is a big long but I really wanted to document the entire process from start to finish. Enjoy!

Greetings from Belarus. I have been fond of catching bees for 30 years, it is almost impossible to give up this hobby. The main thing is a well-chosen place. Bees do not like competition, it is impossible to be near other bee families, no closer than 1 kilometer. The trap must be hidden from the weather, wind and sun. There should be a free flight of the swarm to the trap. At any location there are places where bees do not want to settle and places where all swarms fly, the main thing is to determine them, this is possible only by experience. Question. You have no problems with the safety of the trap. No one will steal or damage it, it is posted openly. We have such a problem.
