The button mashing mechanic for fishing is genuinely so nice, that’s so much easier than other mechanics while still posing a challenge!

truthfully, at first, i wasn't sold on it because i fear damage on my mouse and ligaments lmao. but once it's more manageable with higher rod power, it actually is very pleasant. i can understand why somebody wouldn't like it though

@@Dagnel Yeah, I was kinda iffy about it first until I realized that the rod power scaling gets pretty good for you later on, jumping from 1 to 3 to 10 (and hopefully even better since I've been focusing on other upgrades [and rivals of aether 2 lmao]) in just a couple of upgrades.

Nothing can beat Stardew fishing mechanic for me simply because of the fact that every fish has it's own style of fighting and you can recognize them by the way the fight. And true, it's challenging but when you learn the patterns it becomes really rewording. Stardew Valley fishing reminds me of real life fishing much much more than any "simulator" tytle does. But please share other games with fishing you enjoy, i would like to try out something new!

i think there should be just one more higher tier bait that increases the chance of Alpha fish before I try that. right now it's 5% with the highest tier, meaning it would likely be a 100+ hour endeavor. that's a bit much right now, but maybe eventually!

@@Argentum723 Ah no there's different rarities with fish. Shining, Glistening, Opulent, Radiant and Alpha. Filling the journal with one of every fish with the same rarity will give you a new fishing rod!! :)

I think it'd be really cool to see him play something other than these cozy games and I think it'd be fun to see how he plans around obstacles and avoiding sanity loss as well as maximizing his equipment. Maybe he isn't into horror games tho and I understand that, I'd just fit really well with it being Spoopy Season.

i wish i could play this, but my tendonitis says otherwise... i wish this game had accessibility options for ppl like me who cant do the repetitive motion of mashing, but i understand why it'd be difficult to implement without breaking the mechanics. either way, it looks really cute. remember lads, take frequent breaks and do stretches while playing games!

Do you mean the clicking? If so, there is a mod that does the clicking for you. Modding was very easy. Might not be a solution for you but putting it here in case anyone else needs it.

with the new update there's an autoclicker feature where all you gotta do is hold down! its disabled by default but you can turn it on in settings
