This was very impressive- one of the few playthroughs I've seen where the player has a good knowledge of Minecraft as well as Pokemon. The best part imo was the building of the Lab, as I feel like that intersection between the 2 games is what makes the mod great. 10/10 video, looking forward to seeing if you do it again with the new update

one thing i really dislike about base cobblemon is the lack of any notifier when stumbling across shiny pokemon. like i thought everyone's outcries about it in scarlet and violet made it really clear how annoying it is, lol

yeah I know there’s a handful of people that wish it was part of the base mod, but there is an additional mod you can download that alerts when shiny/legendary pokemon spawn :)

I’m the odd one out lol. There is a spawn notification mod for shinies but I prefer the game without it. It makes it more rewarding when you actually find one. It’s an extra fun challenge for the community on the server

35:00 it's also worth mentioning that the spawn bucket doesnt have an equal chance of spawning each pokemon in its bucket, each one has a different weight in the spawn pool So as an example, if Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Charmander and Charmeleon were the 4 ultra rare pokemon that could spawn, there is a varying % chance for each pokemon to be the one to spawn depending on their weight So for example, a Bulbasaur or Charmander in this case has a much higher chance of spawning than the Ivysaur or Charmeleon If you have commands enabled, you can check what chance each pokemon has of spawning with the /checkspawn command (ex. /checkspawn uncommon) and it will tell you the chance each pokemon has for being the one to spawn if an uncommon bucket was picked

For the next update, you should add the following goals to your challenge: Build a competetive level 100 team with high stats, pefect IV's/EV's, natures, movesets, and held items. Breed the rest of your pokemon (along with catching the new ones) to complete a living dex, obtain a full netherite Gholdengo, and build some sort of fancy mega base, like your favorite structure from the pokemon games (Prism Tower from Kalos, the academies from Paldea, or the Tin and Burned towers from Johto could be good options)

I am pretty positive that there is percentages attached to each Pokemon as well. So if you roll the ultra-rare bucket some Pokemon will have a way higher chance of spawning. Some are very unforgiving like a 4% chance in the ultra rare bucket.

For the dragon egg, you can grab a torch in the end, slab the dragon egg to make it move, place the torch underneath the dragon egg and make it fall on top of the torch, no need for a piston!
