This last Friday I was out fishing after a long time of just fishing before charters, this time for myself. We just got my son off to Air Force BMT and I needed the calm of the beach to ease all the stress away from the last several weeks preparing him for that life-changing experience. I started at Matanzas Beach and ended up further south with some wild underwater footage that shows proof of what bit my whole rig off! First time we ever saw this fish on the underwater footage too. Could have been, but I’m pretty sure it was that Spanish. I know they are attracted to bling and it was bit off above the swivel, maybe it tried to eat the swivels at the end of my mainline 🤷🏻‍♀️
