This video inspired me to give this hunt a shot- And though I phased one sandwich with no shiny encounters, I got a single Dunsparce on my second sandwich. It wasn't marked, and I wasn't expecting much. I only had two large exp candies to give a single level to this lil' baby, and she did not disappoint. I am now happily an owner of my own three-segment shiny Dudunsparce, and this video was 100% the motivation to give it a shot ♥! Thank you for the content and excited to see more #^#

This was actually the second shiny I found in scarlet. And it was full odds. 1 in nearly half a million chance. No hunting, no charm or sandwiches. Hadn’t even beaten four gyms yet. I don’t think I’ll ever be this lucky again.

I would argue that although 3 segment Dunsparce is very hard to get, it isn't nearly the hardest when you factor in that its one of the easiest Pokemon to shiny hunt through mass encounters because you can repeatedly run past them and they'll burrow into the ground which will free up spawn spots rapidly. I personally think that the alternate Maushold variant is the hardest because of its size along with very tiny and unnoticeable shiny differences as well as some shinnies that show little to no visual difference like Tynamo and Igglybuff or Pokemon that are incredibly tiny like Flabebe and Tadbulb.

Always makes me happy to see the game basically give you a reason to like a mon. Congratulations on the fast hunt dude, and on that card too. I love it when little things like that happen, which just solidify that unexpected love for a mon even more. My experience with Grimmsnarl was in reverse now that I think about it. I pulled his shiny G-Max card first, then found his full art shiny V in a card shop, and then got the shiny Jumbo one. Fate really likes to do wacky stuff sometimes, and I’m all for it

By the way, if you can't get the 3 segment form you can just save before evolving and if it's not it, restart the game until you get it.

It doesn't work that way. All the Dunsparce are predetermined as soon as they spawn, he even explained it in the video. You can't save before and evolve it until it's 3 segment unfortunately. It would be cool if you could do that but sadly you can't

Yessssss Dundunsparce appreciation! I loved Dunsparce since i got back into Pokemon in 2016. It's just so cute to me and i love it. I've beaten ultra sun, shield, and violet with full (du)Dunsparce teams and loved every run. While all the shinies i have come from surprise trade (and are probably hacked), this video gave me the want to shiny hunt for this baby. Fingers crossed for a 3 segment form!

Man that’s an amazing story! I actually was hunting a shiny Great Tusk when I did found it, but in front was a family of giblets and one was shiny! Great Tusk was on the cliff and as I went for shiny Gible first he fell off the cliff! I went after it after I was done and it was on the floor waiting for me 😅

Dudunsparce Evolution Idea: Dudundraco, literally Dudunsparce, but longer(more segments), has a longer, maybe thicker tail, has open eyes, has eyebrows(spiked, swirly, cloud-like, doesn't matter), has legs(2 to each segment) and has a string moustache, like Whiscash, Gyarados and Magikarp, and the rare version is just the same thing but 2-4 segments shorter.

I tried doing some research on how often authentic sinistea spawn in this game and all I could find was “it has a 1% chance of spawning”. So technically it’s the same base odds since 1% could translate to 1/100. Sw/sh I think felt more difficult cause how little could spawn at once whereas in this game you can get an outbreak which “feels easier”. I believe base odds in this game for a shiny authentic sinistea is 1/409,600, just like 3 segment Dudunsparce

I love Dundunsparce but what if it had a different form in gen 10 well also i think dundunsparce should be flying normal but only in gen 9 Dundunsparce would of been in gen 10 a (Flying And Poison type) It would suck up poison from is tail to power up is poison attacks and that's it's ability (Poison Power) It will make poison and fighting type moves more stronger and yes gen 10 Dundunsparce can learn (low kick at level 20) (Dark pulse at level 18) (Drill run at level 12) (Toxic at level 28) (A new move in gen 10 Poison headbutt 55 Power and 100 chance to hit and can cause poison also gets at level 33) (quick attack at level 14) (Iron and poison tail at level 8 and 30) (zen headbutt at level 44) (Hyper drill at level 48) (dig at level 55) and last learns (a also new move in gen 9 poison blast power is 105 and has a 80 chance of hitting) i want to let all of you know that this is an idea for the upcoming pokemon games for next years.

I tried looking up some info on sinistea in this game vs sword/ shield and while I do think it may be even more rare, it’s hard to tell due to how many appear in the overworld in this game. Everything I’ve read says “authentic version has a 1% spawn rate of appearing” which means it’d be the same as the 1/100 chance of evolving into a 3 segment form/ family of 3 Maushold. Either way, it is definitely hard to get a shiny of that too (especially in sword/ shield 😅 )
