I'm having some weird Mandela effect-like experience right now. Does anyone else remember "bubblegum trance" being an actual genre that was a subcategory of trance music? I recall the term being used as a label for poppier trance music with a greater emphasis on the vocals. I know some of Julian Cope's work has been described using that label, but that's not what I'm talking about.
