Honestly, I don’t have any issues with this list. I have to cut Billboard some slack because making a top 50 list of all time is pretty demanding.

Nope, drake has been hating Kendrick since 2013 ~ 2014. Look up drake ESPY 2014 and Marcellus Wiley take on the whole matter and how it kicked off.

Dude. Still a Beast. He's versatile in many different angels. Your video is whack. This is your opinion. Everybody has their own opinion And I don't see why yours is on youtube getting views because it's wrong. The industry canceled him. They shut him down. They blocked him because he said that homophobic stuff on that concert.

I was first getting into hip hop when TPAB released and Blacker the Berry was the first single I heard. As a white listener, it made me really uncomfortable, and I listened to it like 10 more times and have been a Kendrick fan since.

I think the only problem is that some of these bands should just be in category "pop metal", just like there is pop-rock and pop-punk. We all know bands like Green Day are pop-punk. They fill arenas and have MUCH more fans than less known real punk bands, and (almost) nobody is complaining about it.

This is where i would usually shell for Bandcamp, but its still bought up by a different company that as far as I know is still anti-Union. I stream on Bandcamp when I can and try to buy physicals from independent label stores and record stores. I try my best, but it's getting so bad recently. I really have no idea how to solve these issues. Perhaps public internet access and public music, film, and book libraries online? Still, that could cut out many independent artists and could be extremely expensive. Not to mention the government would still fuck us over 100 different ways, algorithmic and blatant censorship, requiring ID to view "explicit" content, as well as public utilities don't have a great track record of quality service, usually being sold as a monopoly to the highest bidding private company that can't be held accountable for poor service. tl;dr we're kinda fucked. spread shit thru youtube and blog posts and soulseek and try to pay artists when you can.

The thing here is that any “popular” metal/rock band is always going to be not as heavy or “in the spirit” of metal as the extreme subgenres. That stuff is never going to hit the charts, so if we’re only looking at mainstream rock acts, yeah, they all are approachable. It just comes with the context in which the music came out. Linkin Park and Slipknot were born into a metal world where hip-hop was huge so those sounds merged, just like Bad Omens and Sleep Token are born into a metal world where pop is huge and those sounds are merging.

turned off at 4:15 Drake should've focused only on Kendrick after pushups. He got the 1v20 thing out of the way in that song. Disses against other people after that just felt unnecessary when you're beefing with arguably one of the best rappers alive right now
